Jeneile and Bill’s Waimea Canyon wedding was the natural and spontaneous day that they always wanted. In choosing to elope, they both agreed that finding the perfect ceremony location was the most important part of planning their big day. Victoria Carlson Photography captured the couple exchanging their vows and saying “I do” on scenic canyon cliffs with views every bit as breathtaking and vast as they were hoping for. After the ceremony Jeneile and Bill drove around the canyon in their red convertible, and they even saw breaching whales as they watched the setting sun later on Shipwreck Beach.

We really didn’t have too much to plan since we were eloping however, the location was the most important part of planning our big day. We wanted to find somewhere breathtaking and vast for the ceremony.
We had an amazing officiant who worked with us to personalize our scripts and the night before the wedding we also wrote our vows at Starbucks.
We went for a very natural, earthy and neutral look to fit in with the beautiful canyon surrounds.
The whole day was wonderful! We loved every minute of it, from the perfect weather, to the breathtaking scenery to getting to share our special day with Tori. After the ceremony we had so much fun driving around our bright red convertible through the Waimea Canyon.
We had a really special moment taking photos at Shipwreck beach in Kauai – we saw a couple of whales jump out of the ocean in the distance!
I was looking at dresses for a very long time until I found the perfect one for me. I knew I wanted something elegant, sexy and lacy. I had an initial thought about being wrapped in lace so the dress I chose worked perfectly. I wanted to look very natural too.
From the Groom: I knew right away that I didn’t want to wear a full suit. We weren’t going for a traditional look so instead I chose neutral colours that would work well with our surrounds. Jeneile made sure that the outfit I chose suited her dress.
