Just a short train ride away from London, there’s a national nature reserve, Ruislip Woods, which spans 726 acres and is overflowing with English oak trees. It’s perfectly picturesque and just secluded enough to sneak away and pose for a steamy engagement shoot. Newly engaged couple Belle and Antony wandered around the woods, stealing kisses and looking happy in love while Motiejus Photography captured sexy photos of these two lovebirds.
Laura and Dan’s outdoor Ontario wedding was bold and vibrant. The couple decided to marry at Laura’s family’s cottage, which only added to the many special moments the couple had spent there prior to their wedding. Almost all of the decorations at the reception were DIY – the couple made the hand lettered chalk boards, confetti cones, table numbers, and candy bar. Laura even put her skills as a graphic designer to work by designing the wedding announcements and invitations. Magnolia Studios worked around the clock to capture every moment from Laura and Dan’s wedding on camera.

I love a Midsummer Night’s Dream and always loved the look of the fairies in that story. I wanted to feel like that, light as air.
The most memorable part of the day for us would have to have been our first looks. We snuck away, in the forest behind where the wedding was taking place. It felt like miles away despite being only a few minutes walk. It was just the four of us up there and was a wonderful moment to separate ourselves from all the hubbub of the wedding and just be with each other.
Our venue was my family cottage. My husband and I spent so many special moments up there throughout our relationship and when we got married it seemed to me like there would never be a better place. Now when we go and visit we are surrounded by memories of our wedding day.
I love anything and everything vintage. I have always loved collecting old things and I wanted to use so many of the things in my collection on the wedding day. Starting with these pieces, the rest of the wedding just seemed to come together. Our rental service was amazing and really brought the vision together.
We made little jars of jam and used those also as place settings. I have been making jam for years and years and it was nice to share a part of me with my guests.
We had a great friend of ours write and preform our ceremony. He is studying to get his master in linguistic and there never has been anyone in my life who has a better way with words than he. He made our ceremony so personal, so touching and meaningful.

The inspiration for this luxe natural styled shoot by Jen Chanyi of Cyrience Creative Studios came together pretty organically. The bohemian elegance of the Lihi Hod wedding gown and the beautiful interiors of the Barrow Mansion in Jersey City, New Jersey helped shape the other decor details. With the help of The Arrangement NYC, Jen made sure the dreamy decor combined lots of light, texture, and slightly muted tones with modern touches and gold faceted terrariums.
Our stylist Judy (The Judy Lab) made sure to keep the vision on point over the course of the day, utilizing the various space in the mansion. The historic venue has a little bit of everything, including the vintage bowling alley in the basement we ducked into to capture some “after-party” fun!
