Get Obsessed with the New Grace Loves Lace Bridal Collection – ELIXIR

May 3, 2017 | Junebug Weddings

With so many Junebug brides donning Grace Loves Lace gowns on their big day, we jumped at the chance to feature the bridal designer’s latest collection here on the blog. ELIXIR, the newest collection from Grace Loves Lace, is the embodiment of European style and effortless bridal fashion. Over the last 12 months, Grace Loves Lace has thoughtfully created this collection with real brides as their muse. As they describe her, the Grace Loves Lace bride is a “woman of style, substance, passion. She captivates. She’s electric.” Unlike other collections walking the runway this season, ELIXIR features handcrafted lace and embroideries infused with modern art.

Scroll on to see our favorite designs from this impeccable collection of wearable art by Grace Loves Lace!

“The collection is a call out to the European lifestyle I adore and the women that live it, that effortless suave glamour. Gowns that are made with soul for women that captivate. Together, they are electric.” – Founder, Meg Ziems

“The essence of everything we do is the woman we design for and Elixir is our biggest celebration and representation of that to date.” – Founder, Meg Ziems

“We’ve got some incredibly unique and exciting fabrics and silhouettes that we have been working on for over 12 months. Six years in, and Elixir is my favourite collection we have designed, so much so that I designed a Megan dress. I hope you love Elixir as much as we do.” Founder, Meg Ziems

Each and every gown is handmade in the company’s Australia-based studio. The ELIXIR collection is available exclusively in the Grace Loves Lace studios located in Los Angeles, Australia, and London, as well as online, where the gowns can be shipped worldwide. Check out the full collection on the Grace Loves Lace website and keep up with their inspired designs on their fabulous Instagram account!

This Vibrant Multicultural Wedding at Micklefield Hall Had 3 Beautiful Ceremonies

May 3, 2017 | Junebug Weddings

Mansi and Angus had always wanted to honor their cultural backgrounds at their wedding, so instead of having just one ceremony, the couple’s special day featured 3 multicultural ceremonies! Their Micklefield Hall wedding began with a stunning Hindu ceremony, then was followed by civil and Jewish ceremonies next to a gorgeous pond. We love how seamless Mansi’s style transitions from traditional Hindu attire Photographer Ann-Kathrin Koch captured every beautiful moment of Mansi and Angus’s wedding, including their vibrant floral details.

The Couple:

Mansi and Angus

The Wedding:

Micklefield Hall, London, England

Bharti of Soirella (Chucki as she is lovingly called) did a phenomenal job at dressing me up so that my hair and makeup could easily be changed from a traditional Indian to a look more suited for the civil ceremony. It was seamlessly done and I could not have asked for a better stylist.

We needed a venue that would accommodate our busy day – with three ceremonies, lunch and wedding breakfast. What we really wanted was a venue nestled in nature; Micklefield Hall ticked all the boxes. It is a beautiful venue and we could fit all three ceremonies at different places within the vicinity of the venue. We had the Hindu ceremony in a beautiful white marquee near the open fields, Civil and Jewish ceremony near the sweet pond and the reception in their gorgeous barn.

Most important to us during planning were presence of nature – open field, earth, fire, wood, water, leafy green trees and flowers, colour – lots of bright colours, and inclusion of our cultural backgrounds.

We could not have asked for a better day – glorious sunshine, beautiful green fields, all the ceremonies ran smoothly and so much love from family and friends everywhere.

Ann did an absolutely beautiful job at capturing everything through her amazing camera. We love all the fun and laughter snapped towards the end of the Hindu ceremony, where Angus and I had to play traditional games to find out who will wear the trousers in our married life! The pictures are absolutely fantastic and always make us laugh out loud!

We had the most phenomenal photographer – the best first decision we made planning the wedding. Ann-Kathrin Koch is absolutely amazing. She was sweet and supportive throughout the day, but even the lead up to the big day she made us feel comfortable. The entire process of working with her has been fantastic. I would thoroughly recommend checking her out. Ann and Kate (who supported her on the day) quickly mixed in with the crowds and snapped absolutely beautiful moments.

Do what feels right for you and your love. Take time out to just take everything in – it does fly by. I was able to enjoy my day by being mindful of every moments and soaking in all the love and smiles.
