Danilo and Paolo’s wedding at Il Paradiso di Manu is one of the most elegantly simple weddings we’ve seen in a very long time! Drawing inspiration from the couple’s yoga backgrounds and travels to India, Laura Bravi Events seamlessly incorporated rich Indian fabrics and with delicate flowers and a soft pastel color palette to create a bright, dreamy affair. The grooms looked dapper in matching navy blue Paul Smith suits. We’re totally obsessed with the cake by Le Dolcezze di Liz, which shows the grooms with their adorable pup and features one of our all-time favorite lyrics: “Love is all we need.” Photographer Carla Penoncelli beautifully captured the love this couple shares with each other and with all of their friends and family.
The Couple:
Danilo and Paolo
The Wedding:
Il Paradiso di Manu, Riviera Ligure, Italy
Colors were very dominant in our wedding. Together with Laura Bravi Events, we decided to choose pastel nuances, in order to give a soft summery touch to the location. Since we are both yoga teachers, we want to have an Indian inspired touch but keep it simple, classy, and elegant.
We used Indian soft pastel colors and patterns because we’ve travelled to India many times. We bought all the materials there!
We gave our guests Indian cotton tissues (for tears of joy), paper/bamboo white umbrellas, and Italian typical sugared almonds in colorful paper boxes.
We chose this location because we usually go there for holidays. We love it because of its food and magical view!
Our friends organized a dance choreographed to Madonna’s song ” Vogue”. GREAT!
