The Fairmont Banff Springs Hotel provided a stunning backdrop for Kelsey and Jeff’s glamorous ballroom wedding in Banff. The decor was sophisticated and elegant while being completely romantic, all of which could be used to describe newlyweds Kelsey and Jeff. The Inspiration:

Jeff and I really weren’t fussy about our wedding. We really just wanted it to be fun and for our guests to know how much it meant to us that they came. I think our goal was to keep things simple, yet pretty. Julianne Young, of Julianne Young Weddings, knew exactly what I wanted from the beginning and did an amazing job. She made the day so beautiful and stress free!

We love a wedding film that complements the images of the day by completing the story in an equally beautiful medium. This multimedia film by Jordan Craig Wedding Cinematography does just that:

The Moments:

Another tough question! The whole day?! If we have to choose, I think we can settle on 2 moments. The first for me was walking down the aisle with my Dad… seeing Jeff standing there with our closest friends and family (including my brother in law who officiated the ceremony!) at the alter was so special. The second moment was when we were both seated at the dinner table. Looking around the room at how beautiful it was and realizing how incredible it was that so many people who are so special to us made the trip to Banff to celebrate with us was pretty amazing.

Every single one of our professionals was wonderful. Working with Julianne and Marianne was truly amazing — we really didn’t have to do much thinking! The florals by Amborella turned out incredible, Fayyaz kept us on the dance floor all night! Our photographer, Gabe, and our videographer, Jordan, were just the best to work with — they made the day so enjoyable. Not only were they wonderful to work with, but their finished products were beautiful – we couldn’t have been happier with all of our choices.
