Choosing to incorporate neutral, muted colors and minimal décor directs the wedding focus toward the couple, and that’s exactly what we love about Keith and Lisa’s wedding in Florida. The couple was full of laughter and smiles at their nature inspired, outdoor wedding. Charles Ringling Mansion offered a reception venue that surrounded the couple in natural light. Rachel Photographs captured the easy-going couple as they experienced one of the happiest days of their lives.
The Couple:
Keith and Lisa
The Wedding:
Charles Ringling Mansion, Sarasota, Florida
From the bride: Having the wedding reflect natural beauty was our main goal. We chose locally grown floral and plants for decor, used an earth-tone color pallet, and included lots of wood for our signage. Keith kept a beard, and I wore my hair naturally curly and makeup simple to keep with the same vibe.
Advice from the couple: Take every bit of help people offer you. Our wedding would not have been the same without the input and collaboration in all aspects of the wedding process. Our family and friends grew and arranged the floral, folded origami flowers, created invitations, made all of the desserts, created our wedding video, decorated the entire venue, and even cleaned up afterwards. By taking their help, our wedding was that much more special and personalized to us.
