Chic and Free-Spirited Desert Wedding at 29 Palms Inn

November 30, 2018 | Junebug Weddings

Hailey and Mark are giving us all the artsy desert vibes in their stunning destination wedding at 29 Palms Inn in California! Although their ceremony and reception couldn’t have been more different in style, Wild Heart Events made sure the day flowed seamlessly and effortlessly together. Their traditional ceremony was as elegant as could be and featured a wooden chuppah draped with white linen and muted florals. Their reception, on the other hand, was a masterclass in free-spirited, southwestern styling with a colorful geometric seating chart, ceramic pots, cacti, vibrant florals, printed throws, and vintage lounge seating areas. The best part? No detail escaped the watchful, creative eye of SambaJoy Photo & Art!

The Couple:

Hailey and Mark

The Wedding:

29 Palms Inn, Twentynine Palms, California

We wanted our guests to have fun. Plain and simple. Everyone was traveling for our destination wedding and we wanted them to have the most memorable weekend since we knew ours was going to be!

In the moment, everything seems like the biggest deal or most difficult decision. It’s easy to get caught up in planning the perfect Pinterest wedding, and spend more than you need to and worry about things that no one even cares about. Stay focused on the big picture. Everything works itself out in the end!

My favorite book as a child was, “The Girl Who Loved Wild Horses” by Paul Goble. So, I used the colors and the desert in that book as inspiration for our wedding decor and design.

  1. Initial pictures remind me of Michael’s first wedding from the Godfather movie, a very interesting scenery. I was also fascinated by an open-air session in the desert, an amazing atmosphere.
