Utilizing fruit in your wedding decor is one of our favorite trends for 2015, so we especially love this berry and wine inspired wedding shoot from Portland, Oregon. Arranged at Gray Gardens Estate, planner and coordinator Bash Events NW put together a wedding look for a classic, vintage-loving bride with a modern twist. The overflowing bouquet of red and purple paired against the bride’s glamorous sequin gown made for a stunning contrast that elevates the overall wedding style.
For a little insight on the inspiration for the shoot, here’s what photographer Dina Chmut had to say:
When planning this shoot, I definitely wanted to incorporate the classic and glamorous combination of gold and black, but add in those stunning accents of burgundy and sage. I was going for glam Gatsby meets romantic garden, with subtle accents of feathers for that extra flair! Little details such as 1/2 gold sequin & black feathers on the table scape, to the feather accents on the cake, and the gorgeous dress, everything turned out even more gorgeous then what I was hoping for! While shooting, we had the most perfect golden light that created the soft and romantic look in the photos that we were going for.
