All guests were astonished by the experience and the day, saying it is the best wedding they attended in their whole life, and they still say it to us 6 months later now. I truly do not think words or pictures could ever fully capture how special this place is. It feels like a little piece of heaven hidden in the mountains, peaceful, magical, intimate, and unbelievably beautiful in every direction you look. From the moment we first visited, Jo and Duncan made us feel more like welcomed friends than guests. They are the kindest, warmest hosts, always checking in and always making sure everyone feels comfortable and cared for. You can immediately tell how much love and intention they have poured into this place. This was the first and only venue we visited and honestly, I cannot imagine a more perfect place to celebrate our wedding. There is something incredibly emotional about this venue, the views, the quietness, the light, the feeling you get standing there. It is one of those places you carry with you long after you leave. If you are considering celebrating your wedding here, do it. It is unforgettable.

We got married at Casa Palacio de los Palma in 2022, and without hesitation, we would choose it all over again. From the very first moment we stepped inside, we felt something truly special. The Palace has a unique blend of history, elegance, and warmth that’s hard to put into words. It’s not just beautiful — although it absolutely is — it has soul. Every courtyard, every salon, every corner is full of character and offers endless possibilities to create different moments throughout the day. We celebrated our ceremony in a beautiful church in the neighboring village, which made the day feel even more special and traditional. After the ceremony, we returned to the Palace for the reception — and that’s when the magic truly unfolded. The cocktail hour at sunset and the dinner in the main courtyard exceeded all of our expectations. Many of our guests traveled from abroad, and they were completely blown away by the Andalusian architecture, the atmosphere, and how impeccably maintained everything is. To this day, people still tell us it was one of the most beautiful weddings they have ever attended. One of the things we appreciated most was how versatile the venue is. Each part of the celebration flowed naturally from one space to another without anyone having to leave the property. And when it was time to party, the ground floor ballroom was perfect for dancing late into the night without any concerns. The team was outstanding — professional, attentive, and genuinely supportive throughout the entire process. Planning a wedding can be stressful, but they made everything feel seamless and under control. Being able to stay at the Palace on our wedding night was also incredibly special. Waking up there the next morning was the perfect ending to an unforgettable day. If you’re looking for a venue with character, elegance, authenticity, and that undeniable “wow” factor, Casa Palacio de los Palma is truly exceptional. For us, it wasn’t just a venue — it was the perfect setting for one of the most important days of our lives.

Magical is truly the best word to describe Jo and Duncan’s beautiful property. The photos simply don’t do it justice — the villa and grounds are even more breathtaking in person than they appear in the brochure. And that’s saying something, considering we booked the venue sight unseen from California for our wedding! The villa itself is stunning, with gorgeous stone walls and a serene inner courtyard. The bridal and groom suites are full of charming details, and the property is surrounded by miles of rolling green hills that make for an unforgettable backdrop. Beyond the setting, Jo and Duncan are the absolute best hosts. They are charismatic, kind, and incredibly organized. They answered my long list of questions over email and FaceTime with patience and care. We didn’t hire a day-of coordinator — and we didn’t need one thanks to their help. Everything ran smoothly from the pre-wedding setup to the final moments of our celebration. If you’re on the fence about having a destination wedding (we were, too!), I can say without hesitation that choosing to celebrate in Spain — and especially at This Must Be The Place — was the best decision we could have made.

My husband and I celebrated our wedding here in 2016 and it was beautiful. We had initially planned to host the dinner in the large patio, but we had a lot of rain, which meant we had to move everything indoors. It was still lovely--we used one long hallway for the cocktail hour and dinner (we chose to serve everything cocktail style) and used another long hall for drinking and dancing afterwards. We had a mix of Spanish, American, and English guests and everyone was in awe over how beautiful the space was. I've since been back for other weddings and it's even more stunning now than it was back then. Our wedding was in the evening, but if I were to do it again, I'd do it during the day. That way you can take advantage of the beautiful courtyards (the flowers and greenery are incredible) and still have the dancing indoors at night.
