My husband and I were originally going to get married in Santorini. Of course, COVID had other plans for our wedding and we ended up having to cancel everything. This was our first incredible Maria encounter. The understanding, love, and flexibility she showed during the pandemic created a newfound friendship. I trusted her, completely. I cannot even begin to describe the magical day she had planned for us. Every detail from the vendors she had selected, the location to the ceremony décor was perfection. I walked down to a pianist on the beach (I still have no idea how they got the piano down there… #MariaMagic), an arch made out of dried baby’s breath which I have never seen before, fireworks and the loveliest dinner table surrounded by twinkle lights. I have never met someone so creative and talented to be so selfless and genuine. My goodness. The fact she did ALL this with minimal input from me, only makes me wonder what she could do when a bride gives her their “full vision”. I cannot even begin to thank or describe the gratitude I have for Maria. Maria, Harry and I love you. You will always hold a special place in our hearts and have a friend in the states. We will always remember the day you created around our love.

Magical. The team at Belli Momenti delivered what was essentially a 5 day wedding that shattered our greatest expectations down to the smallest of details. The team knows everyone on the island and that ensures that the most complex weddings will come off without a hitch, and the flow of all of the events will be perfect. When my husband and I decided to have a destination wedding in Greece (we are based in the U.S.), we knew the very first thing we needed to do was to get the right wedding planner(s) on board. Neither of us are Greek and we wouldn't have a chance to go to Greece before our wedding. After doing a lot of internet research and sending out initial inquiries, I had set up interviews with several planners, including Unique Wedding Concepts. While many of the planners I spoke with were very positive, helpful, and experienced, Athina and Iliana at Unique Wedding Concepts seemed to be highly professional, with experience and understanding of certain specifics that were a part of our vision (a Jewish wedding, vegetarian reception, villa venue with accommodations sufficient for all of our guests), as well as warm and easy to collaborate with, so we decided to go with them! They were not the least expensive option we considered, but they are a pair of planners who work together, and their prices were still fair and competitive. Throughout the process, the planning was a collaboration of me having done my own research and sourcing recommendations as well as Athina and Iliana providing insights on timing of when to plan certain aspects as well as weighing in with their own recommendations and resources and assisting in liaising with all vendors. They were very responsive with open communication throughout, so I never felt confused or lost during the process. When our wedding weekend was finally approaching, we were facing some pretty serious and unexpected weather challenges that meant coming up with contingency plans across the entire wedding weekend. Athina and Iliana were critical to making sure we were still able to pull off our welcome dinner without our guests being soaked, making sure we had an alternative activity and meals for our 30+ guests when we had to cancel the catamaran cruise we had planned, and worked with our various vendors to pivot on decor when high winds led to complications at our reception. I do not know what we would have done without them amidst all of the last minute replanning and pivoting that needed to be done. They handled it all extremely quickly and professionally, I never saw them sweat (I wish I could say the same for them about me). If you are looking for a talented, experienced, well-connected, flexible, dedicated, and supportive wedding planning team, you cannot go wrong by choosing Unique Wedding Concepts!
