Best Wedding Photographers in Switzerland

Shawna helped us find and photograph our proposal at a beautiful secluded lake in the Dolomites! I felt assured from our first talks planning the day to the very end. Shawna is an excellent communicator and makes sure you feel heard when working together. During the actual shoot, we have not done any modeling before but Shawna guided us each step of the way. Her husband also helped out film amazing videos of the proposal, which we greatly appreciate! Having a local professional like Shawna is a huge advantage if you ever need to plan a shoot in the Dolomites.

Shawna is not only an incredible photographer, but also an amazing person and if we could give her higher than 5 stars, we would!! From our first video chat until the day we finished up, we feel like she went above and beyond for us. We were traveling from the US to Italy for a private elopement and we could tell immediately from our first video chat that she was who we wanted to capture our experience because she was personable and very knowledgeable about the area with great ideas for locations to include exactly what we were envisioning. She was flexible and created a custom package to accommodate our trip and was willing to travel to two or three different locations to get a variety of shots. Throughout the process, communication was excellent and she was easily reachable for any and all questions. She always responded quickly and sent useful reminders and information leading up to our date, including making alternate plans in the event of rain or bad weather. Her private elopement guide was also helpful for finding vendors and services since we did not have an elopement planner and did not know where to even start looking. On the day of our elopement and photo shoot, Shawna made us feel comfortable in front of the camera, even though we are super awkward in real life and we had only taken professional photos together once before. Though she had shot at the same location many times, the experience felt special and personalized just for us. She gave great directions and we had so many funny and silly moments that we ended up having more fun than we thought we would. Shawna put a lot of thought and effort into making sure our photos would be awesome by scouting the locations (Lago di Braies and Lake Garda) beforehand to know where we should take pictures and she had it all mapped out to get the best shots. She was also very flexible in shooting times and even offered to move times around to accommodate rain and bad weather. She knew what she was doing so it didn’t feel like we had to work hard because she was so great at giving direction and was very encouraging, which was great for a couple who had no idea what they were doing or how to pose. Our photos bring back all the memories of the day and the laughs we had, as well as remind us of how special and truly awesome our elopement was. We love the photos so much, they feel so genuine and really capture the experience, rather than looking like awkwardly posed cheesy shots you normally see in wedding photos. They look like they are from a fairy tale or art taken out of a movie or magazine. Everyone that has seen our photos have been blown away and commented that the photos were unreal and beautiful. We booked Shawna for our Dolomites elopement/micro wedding and it was everything we wanted and more. She captured our entire day SO beautifully and we can't be more grateful. From the first meeting to the wedding day, every thing went so easy and seamlessly. We had a few google meet meetings with her and as well as email communication. It was very easy to talk to her and get a hold of her when needed during our planning process. She listened to all of our requests and delivered on every single one of them! We knew we wanted her as our photographer because of how well she captures not only the couple but the landscape. And she did just THAT! She was so understanding and even took extra time out of her day prior to the wedding to scout a ceremony location as we wanted everything to be as raw as possible. She even sent previews as early as the day after the wedding! We cannot thank her enough and will cherish these photos forever.

Where do I begin? Without a doubt I could write a novel. Our experience with Eline was top tier. From the very beginning she guided me through every single step. She did all of the leg work. From figuring out what time the sun hits certain spots, what restaurants would accommodate our plant-based diet, to going out of her way to make sure we were comfortable in every situation. Really, all we did was show up and live out the dream she turned into a reality. Jared and I are friendly, but picky about who we choose to allow into our close circle. Eline will FOREVER be a part of our circle. There’s no one else that we would’ve chose to have this experience with, and she has become our family. She kept us in high spirits the entire time. Jared and I have stated multiple times during and since our elopement how incredible Eline is, and how our elopement wouldn’t have been close to as great as it turned out to be without her. I actually cried when it was over. Her positive energy is infectious, but calming. She allowed us the space to enjoy our day together, while capturing real-time moments that we can relive forever and forever. I cannot put into words how much Eline and this experience means, and has meant to me. The unbelievably gorgeous photos are just the juiciest cherry on top of what is the best experience we could’ve ever imagined. I cannot recommend her enough. A true elopement adventure.
