I truly cannot say enough wonderful things about Eline, not only about her extraordinary talent, but also about who she is as a person. Deciding to elope was a complicated decision for us. We wanted to give our wedding day the significance it deserved without allowing it to become overly curated, performative, or unlike us. From our very first call with Eline, we knew she understood exactly what we were hoping for: a day that felt intimate, natural, and entirely our own, while still being captured beautifully and intentionally. We shared the feeling we wanted our photographs to evoke, along with a few inspiration images, and Eline immediately understood our vision. She thoughtfully guided us toward the locations, lighting, and time of day that would best create the look we loved, while giving us several options so every decision still felt personal to us. She also went far beyond anything we could have expected from a photographer by sharing spectacular recommendations for our honeymoon. Her suggestions helped make the entire experience, not just our wedding day, even more special and memorable. We met Eline for drinks the evening before our wedding, and it genuinely felt like meeting a long-lost friend. She is warm, calming, intuitive, and incredibly easy to be around. I don’t naturally enjoy being the center of attention, and one of my greatest concerns was feeling overly posed or constantly aware of the camera. Somehow, Eline struck the perfect balance. She gave us enough space for the day to feel private and genuine, yet always seemed to know exactly when we needed a little direction, reassurance, or levity. Nothing felt forced, and we were able to remain completely present with one another. The photographs themselves exceeded anything we could have imagined. Eline didn’t simply document how our wedding looked; she captured exactly how it felt. Every image is filled with emotion, movement, beauty, and a sense of place. Her work is truly an art form, and choosing her was one of the best decisions we made. We will be grateful to Eline for the rest of our lives. When we have children, we already know we’ll return to the Alps so she can photograph our family. As far as we’re concerned, she is our photographer forever.

Shawna was very communicative, checked in on us often, and answered all of our questions with clear answers. She worked hard to make sure we had the perfect day, and was a perfect balance between decisiveness and giving us options. We chose to go with Shawna because we fell in love with her portfolio and the way she encapsulated each couples true love story. Fast forward to “the day”, all of that came to life and we saw how meticulous, mindful, and thoughtful she was in capturing the story of our relationship. Every detail, whether crucial or seemingly insignificant, was brought together into a perfect day that celebrated us. As far as the days events and how we felt in front of the camera…we are terrible at posing for any photos, but despite this Shawna made us feel so comfortable, and confident, and we were able to be ourselves without worrying about what we were doing or where our hands were (if you know you know) Shawna sent us a sneak peek the next evening and we were in awe..just speechless. It validated our desire to skip a traditional wedding and elope in a country, a place, that was so special and so beautiful. An entire year of planning with backlash from our entire family, became worth it in the end when we experienced a day we will never forget. The photos were pure magic, and we have no doubts that we made the right decision. Due to weather conditions, we weren’t able to do some of our original locations but Shawna quickly pivoted and offered wonderful solutions that turned out to be better than we could have imagined. The locations for our shoot included Alpe di Suisi, Santa Cristina and Passo Gardena. Thank you Shawna!!! ♥️

We booked Shawna for our Dolomites elopement/micro wedding and it was everything we wanted and more. She captured our entire day SO beautifully and we can't be more grateful. From the first meeting to the wedding day, every thing went so easy and seamlessly. We had a few google meet meetings with her and as well as email communication. It was very easy to talk to her and get a hold of her when needed during our planning process. She listened to all of our requests and delivered on every single one of them! We knew we wanted her as our photographer because of how well she captures not only the couple but the landscape. And she did just THAT! She was so understanding and even took extra time out of her day prior to the wedding to scout a ceremony location as we wanted everything to be as raw as possible. She even sent previews as early as the day after the wedding! We cannot thank her enough and will cherish these photos forever.

Where do I begin? Without a doubt I could write a novel. Our experience with Eline was top tier. From the very beginning she guided me through every single step. She did all of the leg work. From figuring out what time the sun hits certain spots, what restaurants would accommodate our plant-based diet, to going out of her way to make sure we were comfortable in every situation. Really, all we did was show up and live out the dream she turned into a reality. Jared and I are friendly, but picky about who we choose to allow into our close circle. Eline will FOREVER be a part of our circle. There’s no one else that we would’ve chose to have this experience with, and she has become our family. She kept us in high spirits the entire time. Jared and I have stated multiple times during and since our elopement how incredible Eline is, and how our elopement wouldn’t have been close to as great as it turned out to be without her. I actually cried when it was over. Her positive energy is infectious, but calming. She allowed us the space to enjoy our day together, while capturing real-time moments that we can relive forever and forever. I cannot put into words how much Eline and this experience means, and has meant to me. The unbelievably gorgeous photos are just the juiciest cherry on top of what is the best experience we could’ve ever imagined. I cannot recommend her enough. A true elopement adventure.
