I am in that sweet spot between "documentary style" and giving just the right amount of direction. I am here for the couples who feel awkward in front of the camera and will not leave you hanging. I feel off of your energy - if you are quieter and reserved or more energetic and silly. I want you to feel 100% yourself in front of me so that you forget there is even a camera. Instead, I hope you feel like there is another friend in the room. I am looking for those photos that make you FEEL something - if a stranger sees them in a gallery, they would stop and take in the emotion of the photo and imagine that moment. Of course, I love the photos on top of a mountain - but the ones I love the most are the ones that convey emotion. People hire me because I help create and capture the story that feels true to them.

Love has always existed and there are days when if feels like the world is on fire - the antidote to the anxiety we get from the news or life is...love and celebrating love. When I am around two people madly in love, I lose my breath a little. My heart beats fast. It makes me feel alive and everything seems right in the world. There is nothing like witnessing two people commit to loving one another. Not despite of their flaws and quirks, but because of them. Two imperfect people, willing to put in the work for the greatest gift there is in the world. And when I see them do it the way THEY want - a huge party with their loved ones or just the two of them in a cabin. I never get tired of it. And I always feel that it is the greatest honor that they have trusted me to be in that space and take photos.

My favorite thing right now is to be cozy with my wife, Taylor, and our pets. We have two cats (Frankie and Miley) and our dog - Pepper. Most nights these days end with drinking tea and watching a show, and everyone is cuddle puddle. I think I am in my homebody era. But will still travel for weddings lol!
