White Stripes Wedding

road trip to the White Stripes show in Vancouver

I happen to love a little band called the White Stripes (you may have heard of them) and on Sunday I was lucky enough to get to road trip up to Vancouver, BC to see them play and to visit my friend Ben who is touring with them (see the man in uniform above). The show rocked, we had a blast, and now I love the band even more! On the drive home, visions of their constant red, white and black color scheme flickered in my mind and I got to wondering what a White Stripes wedding would look like. Graphic, intense, quirky, dramatic and a little bit rock and roll: my idea of the ultimate red, white and black wedding! Now if only Jack and Meg would play at the reception…

  1. Great idea! Our wedding was black, white and red. The color combo is great because it can be so many styles…Rock n’ Roll, classic, modern, etc… Nice ideas, and now we’re even more excited for the White Stripes show here in Seattle in September!
