It’s Almost Here! Junebug Weddings’ Spring Inspiration Arriving April 1st!

Tomorrow, April 1st, we mark the arrival of spring with our Junebug Weddings spring 08 update, and may I simply say, I’ve never been more excited to show you all what we’ve been up to! Back in November we posted a sneak peek at the stunning Fashion Report photography being taken in France by our own art directing genius Kim Bamberg, and now we get to unveil the whole beautiful thing. I can’t say enough about how inspirational the photos are and what a stellar job Kim, Adam, Erin and Amanda did to create them all. If it helps to explain my level of photo-lust, I keep daydreaming about having giant life-size prints of these images papering my apartment walls; I just want to look at them all the time! Here are a few of my favorites, and a look at what you will get to see tomorrow…

Along with the Fashion Report, we have a fantastic new Groombug section featuring a honeymoon travel guide to the region around Chateau de St. Julien l’Ars where many of the Fashion Report photos were taken. Guaranteed, it will make you want to hop on a plane for Paris. Right. Now. Groombug also has the cutest proposal story we’ve heard in ages, and advice for your guy on how to successfully and confidently buy you gifts of lovely lingerie. (You’re welcome.)

Real Weddings- Analisa and Ini

Analisa and Ini got married last August in spectacular, sophisticated, and modern fashion with a ceremony and reception at the Golf Club at Newcastle. Using a wedding color palette of whites, creams, and greens their goal was to create décor that was chic and clean with warm and welcoming romantic details. I love the way the stunning cymbidium orchids in the bouquets and centerpieces added a lushness to the day, and how incredible they looked next to Analisa’s bright white strapless Rivini wedding gown, and the Vera Wang bridesmaids dresses her girls wore. So beautiful!

These two lovebirds had a stellar team working with them to bring their day to life (check out our Real Weddings section for more details, and Edit 1 Media’s blog for video of the wedding!) and one of the most impressive pieces by far was the photographic work of J. Garner Photography. Jim and his talented team never fail to amaze us with their dramatic, intimate, high fashion images, and this wedding was no different. Just look at these incredible photos!

J. Garner Photography recently attended the annual WPPI conference in Las Vegas (the Super Bowl of wedding photography industry events) where Jim spoke on expert panels, gave master workshops and came away with more awards that we can count. We are so honored to have J. Garner Photography as one of our Junebug Weddings members, and to count them as our friends! Extra Colorful Wedding Accessories from J.Crew’s Spring Collections

This spring J Crew is rocking the bright colors with their new shoe and accessories collections, and my heart is racing with excitement! How adorable would any of these pieces be to add a splash of color to a wedding day look, or brighten up bridal shower and rehearsal day outfits? I am personally coveting the Pepper suede peep toe heels in sour lemon and the Bubble necklace in sweet papaya, and I love the thought of the Martine satin heels in bright green and the chunky enamel bangles dressing up a group of fun loving summer bridesmaids.
