After Graham proposed to Alicia with a ring atop a s’more, the excited couple decided to extend their love for the outdoors into their wedding design. The sandy Southampton Beach, which lies next to a tall enchanting forest, marked the spot for Alicia and Graham to say “I do.” Wooden decor and tropical flowers added an elegant, rustic touch to the design. For the reception, friends and family headed to Lakeshore Recreation in Saugeen Shores, Ontario to celebrate with the newly married couple. Daring Wanderer expertly shot this gorgeous wedding!

The Inspiration:
Our inspiration for our wedding was to go for a ‘outdoorsy rustic chic’ look, which is a mix of our styles. We made a lot of the decor items, so it was nice to be able to put our own personal touches on them. I wanted a very classic looking dress that had a romantic feel to it. As soon as I tried on the Watters dress, I fell in love with it and the lace detailing that it had.
The Moments:
Our favourite moment from the wedding was being surrounded by all of our favourite people. We were so overwhelmed with all of the love and support, and it truly made our day incredibly special.

There are three people that stand out to us that we loved working with and would highly recommend. Our photographer, Daring Wanderer, is absolutely amazing! I love her style of photographs, and the way she can capture a moment. We had the chance to work with her on two separate occasions (engagement/wedding) and the images that were created truly speak for themselves. Her work is stunning and captures that raw natural beauty of the moment – it’s incredible! Our invitation designer and friend, Juniper Tree, is so talented and easy to work with. I showed her a couple styles/designs of save the dates/invitations that we liked and from that she created exactly what we wanted. Last but not least, our event coordinators, Rouse Events & Design, are truly life savers. They made the stress of planning a wedding non-existent and were there to help with any of the details. They were able to take the projects that we created and the style that we were going for, and create the most beautiful day!
