Ethereal Normandy Wedding Inspiration

There is a certain effortless grace in waterfront weddings, and this Normandy wedding inspiration is a fabulous example. Wedding designer Alle Gebeure enlisted the help of a few of France’s most qualified professionals to create an ethereal scene fit for a romantic beach elopement. A pale blue and aqua watercolor motif throughout the table decor and stationery provides a modern take on beach wedding styling. Kasia Bacq Photographer brilliantly captured the seaside wedding ideas to inspire your big day!

We love the idea of having your vows hand-lettered by a calligrapher. These watercolor vows designed by Jeau& would be so lovely framed in your home!

Bohemian Seaside Scottish Wedding at St. Salvator’s Chapel

We love when couples choose a spot that’s special to them for their big day. Lisa and Alex decided to say “I do” at St. Salvator’s Chapel in St. Andrew’s, where they have frequently visited family over the years. Bohemian vibes and a seaside view made for a low-key celebration, exactly as the couple envisioned. Anna Urban Photography beautifully captured the playful and sweet moments shared between the newlyweds and all of their guests as they enjoyed an intimate reception at The Seafood Restaurant.

St. Salvator’s Chapel, Fife, Scotland

We wanted it to be a bit hippie, a bit bohemian, nothing too formal. We decided to have the ceremony in St Andrews (Scotland), because we spend time there with Alex’s family every year. The theme of the wedding had to fit the romantic seaside setting.

The best moment was when we went down to be the beach with all of our friends and family and the sun finally came out.

Cath from Blue Poppy Florist did an amazing job. She grows many of the flowers herself and was able to find some peonies for my bouquet even though it was way past peony season. She and her sister spent the whole day in St Andrews making sure the flowers were transported from one venue to the other.

Stunning Toronto Wedding at Hart House

From inside to out, Hart House couldn’t have been a more beautiful backdrop for Tamara and Kevin’s Toronto wedding. The couple said “I do” on the steps outside the tall stone building before heading into the reception, where the dark wood interior set the mood for a sophisticated and romantic celebration. We love that the couple kept their reception decor simple, focusing on long garlands of greenery on each wooden table. Daring Wanderer captured all of the festivities, including the couple and their guests dancing The Zeffeh along with Handmade Entertainment.

How beautiful is this overgrown bouquet in dusty pink, cream, and lavender by Coriander Girl?

The Zeffeh (traditional Middle Eastern folk song and dance) that was performed by Handmade Entertainment was so special! Roula Said wrote and created a song in English with little personal anecdotes about us that were so funny, well written and unique – I think everyone, including us, was pleasantly surprised by how thoughtful and talented Roula and her band were. It was even more wonderful than we ever could have imagined!

We didn’t need to do much to Hart House to make it what it was – it has so much history and charm. The dark wood, the garden in the quad and the gorgeous stone buildings really spoke to us. We really wanted everything to fit into that type of organic and timeless aesthetic.

Our cake was absolutely delicious, everyone wanted seconds!!! Hart House does not have air conditioning so Nadia timed the drop off and refrigeration perfectly – small details that we did not have to worry about and trusted our vendor to take care of.
