Breathtaking Post-Wedding Photos at Cape Schanck

After saying “I do” in a traditional church ceremony, Camille and Nathan hit the road in their little red corvette to Cape Schanck for a romantic post-wedding photo shoot with Motta Weddings. Nathan looked sharp as ever in his classic tux, while Camille’s stylish bridal look included a lace and taffeta gown with light blue accents. We love that she even paired festive blue ornaments on her shoes to match!

Bohemian Chic Bali Wedding at Puri Wulandari

When planning their Bali wedding, Ricarda and Erik told Simply Chic Weddings they wanted a bohemian chic affair inspired by the weddings of Kate Moss and Tori Praver. Even with elegant and romantic fairy tale styling, the most beautiful part of the wedding was Ricarda and Erik exchanging their vows in a gentle rainstorm. Terralogical Photography masterfully captured the enchanting fog that hung over Puri Wulandari, as well as the exquisite décor that filled Uma by Como for the reception.

I wanted a bohemian chic wedding, informal but still proper, fairytale like but not princess. For the inspiration think a mix of Kate Moss’ garden and Tori Praver’s wedding, we wanted something similar.

The ceremony was our most favourite part. It rained cats and dogs before and after the vows but in between the rain stopped for ten minutes and it felt like the earth stood still and everything was about our reunion. To look into the faces of our parents and family and to feel their love for us. Also, our both dad’s wedding speeches were absolute tearjerkers! What also amazed us was how our wedding planner managed to exceed expectations on the flower and table arrangements and the overall orchestration of the day. Everything was just perfect.

Erik is Dutch-Indonesian, I grew up in a small town with lots of greenery. Bali was our first and only choice as we have been in love with the place for a very long time and it almost feels home to us. We wanted a green, garden-style wedding with a dramatic element, so Ubud was just perfect. Uma by Como is a beautiful boutique resort hotel with an amazing jungle backdrop and their service is remarkable. Our solemnisation was at The Puri Wulandari, quite tucked away, and they don’t usually do many weddings. When we visited it for the first time we both had goosebumps and knew that’s the one.
