Just in time for autumn, this wedding takes all of our favorite cooler weather jewel tones and gives them a sophisticated boho flair! The deep reds and sage greens of Sharai and Zach’s wedding color palette can be seen in the bridal party’s flower crowns, the freeform tablescapes, and even the ceremony décor. Sharai and Zach’s wedding at The Glen at Crossmount was full of fab boho style, including Sharai’s mother’s wedding dress that the bride customized with modern lacy details. We love the emotion and attention to detail that Nicole Marie Photography captured in her photos of the couple’s day!

The most important part of planning was planning the atmosphere of the day and ensuring the day reflects us and our relationship.
I wore my mother’s dress. It was an ’80s long sleeved, a-line dress. It had the structure but I needed to modernize it. I took it to a local seamstress who redesigned it completely and it turned out beautifully! I wanted long sleeves and a tight bodice that hugged my body. I was inspired from the bohemian dresses on Pinterest and I was so happy with the outcome.
My bridesmaids all wore different dresses and different colours. I wanted no one to be the same because I do not like ordinary. They had two pieces (skirts and crop tops), floral gowns and even a velour gown! We all had flower crowns which I had always envisioned we would wear. It was magical!
Our wedding vibe was light, airy, and bohemian. Opposite of traditional!! I chose jewel tone colours because I love the rich tones.
