Childhood sweethearts Betsy and Russell wanted their wedding day to reflect their laid-back personalities. With a simple color palette of white and tan, the couple allowed their surroundings to fill the wedding with earth tones. Conrad Botzum Farmstead in Akron, Ohio offered a rustic space for the couple’s casual outdoor wedding. Talented photographer Jenn Manor documented special moments the couple shared at their lovely Ohio wedding.

From the bride: We really wanted our wedding to be comfortable and fun for our guests, and that drove much of the decor and fashion. My dress was actually a bridesmaid dress, and I wore flats. I gave my bridesmaids a few swatches of paint colors to inspire the palate, and told them to pick out a dress that they loved. We had a barn wedding with pulled pork, fixins, homemade spiked punches, and ceramic animals as centerpieces. It was very DIY while still being refined and we think we achieved our goal of having a fun and comfortable wedding!
