We’ve all seen the popcorn and hot chocolate bars, but Alanna and Scott’s creative wedding included a cool craft cocktails for guests to enjoy. The pair were married at Eagles Nest Retreat in British Columbia in a simple ceremony overlooking the gorgeous scenery of Galiano Island. Scott is a graphic designer, and he impeccably designed the signage throughout the day in a modern, minimalist motif with a subtle sage and coral color palette. The Nickersons were there to capture it all, including some amazing portraits of the couple venturing through the vast venue.

The Inspiration: “We planned and decorated everything ourselves and wanted to keep things modest, simple and cohesive. Our venue was extremely scenic and we did not have to do much to beautify it.”

The Moments: “We came up with the idea of a small self-serve prosecco cocktail bar with custom recipe cards. It was great to see people join in on the idea with such gusto.”
