Always one to push the fashion envelope, Vera Wang’s Fall 2012 wedding dress collection didn’t contain a single wisp of white! Nude and black were the colors of the day, inspired by the concept of “Witchcraft” as well as Vera’s new bi-costal status and the differences in atmosphere between LA and New York. Vera’s dramatic dresses are painstakingly hand-made with layer upon layer of whisper light fabrics, and for the first time ever, chantilly lace. These wedding dresses are nothing short of works of art and I was mesmerized getting to see their construction and detail up close. I can’t wait to see the stylish women who will choose one of these rebellious bridal stunners to walk down the aisle!
How about you, would you forgo wearing white on your wedding day?
