In addition to getting to see the beautiful and always glamorous wedding dresses that designer Rita Vinieris creates, I love to attend the Rivini bridal market runway show because it takes place at the home of the Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater, the Joan Weill Center for Dance. The former dancer in me gets giddy every time I enter the building knowing I’m close to so much dance history and greatness, and it adds such a fun energy to the experience of the show!
This season the Rivini wedding dresses spanned many shapes and styles, with a look and a cut for every body, while still maintaining a focus on luxury and elegance. My favorite pieces were the ones that steered away from the styles we’ve been seeing in bridal fashion for the last few years, and that used creative fabrics to showcase new dress silhouettes.
The gowns look really elegant! These are the pieces that no doubt bring glamor to wedding ceremonies!
I would have to vote for #4. That’s the only one I think is gorgeous. The other’s are ok.
Very elegant pieces! It’s so difficult to choose just one but I’m partial to the one on the middle right: (http://junebugweddings.com/img/whatjunebugloves/june2010/Rivini-wedding-dress-collection-fall-winter-2012-3.jpg) It looks gorgeous. C:
