I grew up watching movies and have always loved film. For as long as I can remember, I wanted to make films of my own, and eventually I found that wedding films gave me a way to do that while also creating something that really means something to someone. When I film a wedding, I want to capture the essence of the couple and their families, not just what everything looked like that day. I want their personalities, the people they love, the little interactions and all the things that make their relationship theirs to come through in the film. I also genuinely love being around weddings. There’s so much positivity, love and excitement, and getting to meet different couples constantly reminds me how special and honestly kind of magical it is to find your person. A lot of the time, watching my couples together even makes me think about my own person and how lucky I feel to have found that kind of love too. I’ve also always been someone who feels happiest when I can give something back to other people. Wedding filmmaking somehow brings all of those parts of me together at once. I get to make films, meet people in love, be surrounded by their families and friends, and at the end of it all, give them something that lets them experience that day again. That’s what makes this work so special to me.
