What aspect of your job never ceases to give you butterflies or make you excited?

What still gives us butterflies? Those first conversations, when you share your dreams and ideas begin to take shape. The moment you fall in love with your moodboard and, on the wedding day, when all the thoughtful details come together. But above all, it’s the joy, love, and emotion we feel when we see you sharing such meaningful moments with the people you love most. That’s what makes it all worthwhile.

Is there a wedding destination or type that’s on your bucket list right now?

The sun-drenched landscapes of the South of France, the timeless romance of Italy, and the vibrant charm of Spain.

What achievement, moment, or success are you most proud of in your career?

A three-day wedding for an American-British-Nigerian couple who were deeply in love with each other and with Portugal. It pushed me beyond my comfort zone, both creatively and in navigating cultural traditions, while helping a couple who found it difficult to make decisions bring their vision to life. And just when I thought we had enough to manage, the Nigerian chef was hospitalised the day before the wedding. Seeing everything come together despite the challenges was an incredibly proud moment. It reminded me that, with creativity, resilience, and the right team, I am capable of navigating even the most unexpected situations and turning them into something truly special.

How did you get your start in the wedding industry?

I grew up in a family of caterers, and some of my favourite memories of family weddings were spent helping out in the kitchen, fascinated by everything happening behind the scenes. I was always curious about what makes a hotel lobby feel special, or how a thoughtful gesture can make someone feel truly cared for. Choosing to study Hospitality Management felt natural. Working in luxury hotels and travelling the world opened my eyes to different cultures and taught me the importance of thoughtful, personalised experiences. After several years working as an event coordinator, I realised that weddings brought together everything I loved most: hospitality, creativity, meaningful details, and the joy of bringing people together. That’s when I knew I had found where I belonged.
