My wife and I got married in February 2024 and worked with YucatanLove! YucatanLove replied to us quickly and professionally and were ready to get started. As an LGBT couple, we were upfront with them about wanting a planning team who would be completely affirming/inclusive. They gave us 100% confidence and were excited to work with us. Throughout the entire process, the team showed us that we were welcome just the way we are. We worked with Laura, Silvia, and Linda and they are amazing!! They understood us as a couple and that our needs for our wedding might be different from other couples. It was even their idea to add rainbow lights to the palm trees to show our pride

My husband and I decided to get married at a hacienda outside Merida in 2022. We interviewed many wedding planners and YucatanLove was, by far, the most professional and friendly. We hired them immediately. They were organized with spreadsheets and their expertise was clear. The spreadsheets were on a Google Drive. Our communication was constant and quick on WhatsApp. We traveled to Merida and toured about 8 haciendas and we chose Hacienda Tamchen. For the next 15 months, we worked with Lau, our wedding planner at YucatanLove. We hired around 30 vendors, had 3 pre-wedding events, a welcome party, and a rehearsal dinner - not including our actual wedding. YucatanLove and Lau were there every step of the way. They created beautiful and magical moments in a transparent way. The organization and budgeting was clear. Lau was always open to revising plans based on schedule and budget. Their confidence alleviated our concerns and nerves. This was important because this was a destination wedding, and our meetings were virtual. During our 2nd trip to Merida in 2023 for vendor selection and cocktail and food tastings, YucatanLove organized the entire trip and drove us to meet the vendors. It was special to build a relationship with Lau in person during this trip.
Our wedding was magic. YucantanLove and Lau made this happen. If you hire YucatanLove for your Yucatecan wedding, it will be a dream. Thank you, Lau and the YucatanLove team!

My wife and I decided to get married in Merida before we were even engaged. Once we were engaged, we came across Yucatan Love's instagram and fell in love with the weddings they would post about. We quickly decided to work with them and were lucky enough to have Lau and Ahimsa as our wedding planners. They took their time to listen to everything we wanted and were able to make our dreams a reality. The wedding planning process was never stressful with them at the helm and when there was any slight bumps in the road, they always had two or three solutions. We were never told no to any of our ideas and instead would give us alternatives to make our vision work within our budget. The end result was an amazing wedding. We felt like we were in a fairytale the whole time. We cannot thank Lau, Ahimsa, and the whole Yucatan Love team enough. At the end, we had done so much planning and work that we felt like they were a part of our family. We are so glad that we were able to find and work with them. If you are looking to get married in the Yucatan area, we would 100% recommend them.

We got married in Playa del Carmen in December 2023 and hiring Yucatan Love as our wedding planners was the best decision we made. Yucatan Love genuinely made the wedding process as easy as possible and even enjoyable for us. Yucatan Love was there for every step of the process, making sure that we had no concerns as a couple and could truly enjoy and be present for our day.
A few things that stood out about working with Yucatan Love were 1) clear structure to our meetings and calls, 2) the effective use of Google drive and Google docs to actively collaborate and track progress with multiple vendors, and 3) the ease that we felt as a couple knowing that YL anticipated any of our questions and concerns.
Our wedding day was truly better than any vision or picture we had of what our day would look like and we know Yucatan Love's thoughtful attention to detail and care for our wedding made that possible. Many people asked how we were able to plan such a beautiful and detailed destination wedding, and our response is always: we had an amazing wedding planning team at Yucatan Love. We specifically worked with Laura and Ahimsa, but loved every member of the YL team we interacted with! To any couples considering Yucatan Love, we would highly recommend them!

After interviewing 5 different wedding planners in the Yucatán, we chose YucatánLove, and it was the best decision ever made for our 100-person destination wedding! YucatánLove is an expert in the wedding planning business with multiple planners and social media, finance, design, and travel concierge teams that make the destination wedding planning process seamless. Since my husband and I are based in NYC and had a destination wedding in Mérida, all of our meetings were virtual. Our primary planners were Laura and Ahimsa, and they went above and beyond to make our wedding day magical. All of our documents were efficiently organized via Google Drive, and the team was readily available and responsive on WhatsApp. The team was also very attentive to our wedding style, and they always found a way to make the impossible possible. Every planned design, layout, and schedule envisioned prior to the wedding day was executed EXACTLY as discussed on the actual wedding day. YucatánLove also has an extensive list of trusted and high quality vendors they work with. Our wedding guests told us they had the best cocktail food/drinks and 3-course wedding meal ever, thanks to the vendors that YucatánLove suggested. Some guests even shared that it was the best wedding they have ever attended. We couldn’t have done it all with the whole YucatánLove team!
