What is your specialty or personal style?
I shoot for couples who care more about how the day felt than how it performed for a camera. My style touches on trends without letting them take over the gallery, I want a set of images that feels present, but is primarily timeless. I also shoot 35mm film alongside digital, which changes how I move through a day and what I notice.
Couples hire you because…
They want a gallery that holds what actually happened, not a version of it. We lead with experience over posing, and we're known for finding the in between moments, the ones nobody planned for but everyone remembers.
What aspect of your job never ceases to give you butterflies or make you excited?
Loading a roll of film and not knowing exactly what I got until it's developed. There's a version of trust in that process I don't get anywhere else, and it keeps me honest about what I'm actually seeing in front of me instead of chasing a shot I already have in my head.
Describe the personalities of the couples you get along best with.
They build their day around the people in the room, not around how it will look. They're usually warm, not afraid to be playful, and a little unpolished in the best way, more interested in whether their grandmother had a good time than whether every detail was on brand. On the day itself, they're ready to let go and trust their team.
What achievement, moment, or success are you most proud of in your career?
I started building a trained associate team back in 2020, and it's become one of the things I'm proudest of. For our associate packages, I match every photographer to a couple based on style and energy fit, and watching someone I trained hold a wedding day with the same care I would has been one of the most rewarding parts of growing this business.
