Why book?

Edoardo Giorio isn’t the kind of wedding photographer who asks you to hold still and smile—he’s more interested in the fleeting glances, the belly laughs, and the quiet moments you didn’t realize anyone saw. Rooted in the vineyards and villages of Langhe and Piedmont but always ready to travel, he follows each wedding with a modern, discreet eye that lets the day unfold naturally. His photographs lean into “perfect imperfections,” telling stories that feel raw, emotional, and utterly your own. Whether you’re exchanging vows on a Tuscan hillside or by the sea in Liguria, Edoardo captures not just how your wedding looks, but how it feels.

Q&A
Connect with this vendor by getting to know them beyond their work.
What is your specialty or personal style?
I specialize in emotional, documentary-style wedding photography—capturing real moments with vibrant colors and natural light. My approach is spontaneous and discreet, focused on telling your story as it truly unfolds.
Do you have a favorite wedding story or moment from your career?
One that always stays with me is a wedding in the hills of Tuscany. Just before the ceremony, a sudden summer storm rolled in—wind, thunder, everything. The couple didn’t panic. They held hands, laughed, and waited it out under a tiny stone archway. When the sun broke through, the light was golden, the guests were cheering, and the bride walked barefoot through the wet grass. It was raw, emotional, and unforgettable. Moments like that remind me why I do this.
Couples hire you because…
Couples hire me because they want more than just beautiful photos—they want memories that feel alive. My style is emotional, spontaneous, and deeply personal. I capture the real moments: the laughter, the tears, the quiet glances that say everything. I work discreetly, letting your story unfold naturally, so your images reflect not just how your day looked, but how it truly felt.
What’s your favorite aspect of your job?
What I love most is the intimacy of it all—being invited into such a personal, emotional day and quietly weaving it into a visual story. Every wedding is different, every couple has their own rhythm, and I get to witness it up close. Capturing those fleeting, unscripted moments—that’s where the magic lives.
What achievement, moment, or success are you most proud of in your career?
One of the moments I’m most proud of was being featured on major international wedding platforms. Seeing my work recognized not just for its aesthetic, but for the emotion and authenticity behind it, felt deeply rewarding. But honestly, the real success is when couples tell me they felt truly seen in their photos—that’s what matters most.
Describe the personalities of the couples you get along best with.
I connect best with couples who value authenticity over perfection. They’re warm, emotionally open, and not afraid to be themselves—whether that means laughing loudly, crying freely, or dancing barefoot under the stars. They care more about the experience than the performance, and they trust me to capture their story as it truly unfolds. That trust creates a beautiful space for creativity and connection.
What part of your business are you best at?
I’m best at capturing the emotional essence of a wedding day—those fleeting, unscripted moments that tell the real story. But I also excel at making couples feel comfortable and seen, which allows their personalities to shine through naturally. Behind the scenes, I’m organized and communicative, especially with international clients, so the experience feels smooth from first contact to final delivery.
Is there a wedding destination or type that’s on your bucket list right now?
I’d love to photograph weddings in Greece or France—especially in Paris. There’s something timeless and romantic about those settings, whether it’s the blue domes of Santorini or the quiet elegance of a Parisian courtyard. They inspire a kind of storytelling that feels cinematic and deeply emotional.
