What’s your favorite aspect of your job?

I believe love is awesome! And being able to combine celebrating that love with photographs, and the beauty of nature is my absolute favorite. Capturing love and connection, surrounded by alpine lakes, golden aspens, or mountain peaks really drives me and makes me super excited.

Do you have a favorite wedding story or moment from your career?

I don't have a specific memory, but I really love all the candid moments that happen during the reception. Its rare that all your favorite people are together, and I find those little connections between friends and family so touching and valuable. One of my favorite photos from my wedding is a candid shot of my sister, my mom, and my grandmother smiling and talking.

What achievement, moment, or success are you most proud of in your career?

I'm very proud that we have over 95 - 5 star reviews on Google. It makes me so happy when the clients we work with love their experience and the photos we deliver. I think when we hit 75 reviews that felt like a huge success and we're hoping to top 100 this year!

What is your favorite thing to do when not working?

Spending time outdoors has always brought balance and clarity to my life, so I love that. Whether I’m trail running, rock climbing, backpacking, or just walking our dog, being in nature slows me down. It makes me feel humble, and appreciative for the world around me, and also just puts a smile on my face. Right now my husband and I are slowly introducing our son to all these activities. So often its at a little slower pace but still so fun to be outside.

Describe the personalities of the couples you get along best with.

I typically work with couples who love the outdoors of all different types. Those who appreciate nature and want it to be part of their day and celebration in some meaningful way.

How did you get your start in the wedding industry?

A friend of mine asked me to photograph her wedding. I was a photographer at the time but mostly shooting events and portraits. I was instantly hooked and asked myself why I hadn't jumped into it sooner. I'm so glad she asked me. It really changed the course of my life and career.

What part of your business are you best at?

I'm best at helping people feel comfortable in front of the camera and guiding them in a natural way through portraits. I also have a strong eye for detail.

What is your communication style?

We are pretty open and direct communicators. Our goal is to be available to our clients via email and/or phone and respond in a timely manner. We say what we mean and meet challenges with a positive attitude.

Do you have payment plans available?

Standard Payments are 25% retainer at time of booking and 75% due on the wedding day. If you need to split up the remaining 75% into smaller payments, we can offer that. Just talk to us and we can come up with a solution that fits.

Is there a wedding destination or type that’s on your bucket list right now?

One place I'd love to go for an adventure elopement is on top of half dome in Yosemite, CA. I think it would be super fun and make for some amazing images.
