What’s your favorite aspect of your job?
The amazing energy my couples bring and the cool spaces and venues they pick for their wedding days. It keeps things fresh and exciting, year after year. I work with remarkable couples and am so, very, lucky to do this work for them.
What is your favorite thing to do when not working?
Exploring new places and documenting them on 35mm film! I really love historical places and history, with a particular fondness of 'spooky' and abandoned places. I also collect vinyl records, frequent bookstores and love eating ice cream.
How did you get your start in the wedding industry?
In a bathroom. Really! I started my business while working as Zooey Dechannel's stand-in on the TV show 'New Girl'. Our main holding area was the loft bathroom, just a set! ;) I would work weddings on the weekend and edit and blog during my downtime on set. Once the show wrapped I was full time doing this work.
