Why book?
Ceremonies with Cynthia creates custom-written wedding ceremonies that sound and feel like you—not a template, not a script pulled from the internet. She takes the time to listen deeply, shaping words that reflect your beliefs, your story, and the way you actually love each other. Whether honoring tradition or building something entirely your own, Cynthia crafts ceremonies that feel intentional, engaging, and emotionally resonant. In a world of quick copy-and-paste vows, she offers something slower and more meaningful: presence, care, and words that carry real weight.

Q&A
Connect with this vendor by getting to know them beyond their work.
What is your specialty or personal style?
My specialty is crafting and producing deeply personal, cinematic wedding ceremonies that feel intentional, emotionally rich, and completely unique to each couple. I’m not a traditional officiant. I’m a ceremony producer and custom writer. Every ceremony is written from scratch, shaped through emotional intelligence, and delivered with calm, seamless precision.
My style blends thoughtful storytelling, guided pacing, and professional ceremony production, including discreet, professional-grade audio, vendor coordination, and a presence that brings warmth, joy, and comfort. The result is a ceremony that feels elevated, intimate, and beautifully aligned with who you are, the kind of moment that guests talk about for years to come.
Couples hire you because…
Couples hire me because they want a ceremony that feels personal, emotionally resonant, and flawlessly delivered. They’re looking for more than someone to stand at the front and regurgitate an overused, outdated script. They want a writer, a guide, and a calming presence who can translate their love story into a moment that takes their guests on a journey through their relationship; they want a ceremony that is unforgettable.
They value my ability to craft a ceremony from scratch, support them through the emotional work of vow writing, and produce the entire experience with professional audio, seamless pacing, and quiet coordination behind the scenes. My couples know that with me, their ceremony will feel elevated, meaningful, and completely aligned with who they are. Together, we create the kind of moment their guests talk about long after the wedding day.
What’s your favorite aspect of your job?
My favorite part of this work is that no two ceremonies are ever the same. Every couple brings a new story, a new emotional landscape, and a new opportunity to create something meaningful. I love the collaboration: the way a ceremony evolves through conversation, trust, and the small details couples share when they feel truly seen.
I’m energized by being a maverick in this field, filling gaps I’ve watched couples struggle with for years and guiding them with honesty rather than sales scripts. I love learning who they are, understanding their families, and shaping a ceremony that takes their guests on an emotional journey with us.
It’s a privilege to celebrate life’s most important milestones and to remain connected with many of my couples long after the wedding day. I’m grateful for the beautiful venues I get to work in and the talented, kind vendors who have become friends after more than a decade of sharing weekends together.
But what I love most is witnessing the impact of the words I write. Seeing couples moved, hearing guests say it was the best ceremony they’ve ever experienced, and knowing that for a few moments, everyone in the room felt something unforgettable: that is the part I never take for granted.
What is your favorite thing to do when not working?
Because my weekends are filled with gowns, music, and the beautiful energy of celebration, my time off is intentionally quiet and restorative. I love spending slow, peaceful moments with my husband and our dog, reconnecting with the simplicity that balances the fullness of my work. Nature is where I find grounding and healing, so when the weather is kind, you’ll usually find us exploring parks, walking nature trails, or just breathing in the ocean air at the beach.
Family visits often, and sharing an al fresco lunch with them or with close friends is one of my favorite ways to recharge. Those gentle, unhurried moments—sunshine, conversation, and the people I love—are what renew my spirit and keep me inspired for the work I’m so grateful to do.
