What is your specialty or personal style?

My specialty is multicultural and international weddings. I love bringing different cultures, generations and musical tastes together on one dance floor. My style is open-format, energetic and very responsive to the room: from Afrobeats, Amapiano, Afrohouse, R&B and Hip-Hop to House, Dancehall, Pop, throwbacks and international classics.

Couples hire you because…

Couples hire me because they want more than someone who simply presses play. I take time to understand the couple, their story, their guests and the atmosphere they want to create. I prepare carefully, but I never rely on a rigid playlist. I rather read the room and adapt throughout the celebration.

What’s your favorite aspect of your job?

Watching people who may come from completely different backgrounds end up celebrating together on the same dance floor. At international weddings especially, there is something special about seeing music connect families, cultures and generations who may have never partied together before. I LOVE to see people celebrate their love.

What aspect of your job never ceases to give you butterflies or make you excited?

The moment just before the dance floor really takes off. You can feel when the room is ready, and finding that one record that suddenly brings everyone together still excites me every single time no matter how many weddings I play. Also, I love to ask where the guests come from (countries, cultures) so I can always chip in surprise tracks and moments based on popular songs from the guests' origins. Always a delight to see how they react.

Describe the personalities of the couples you get along best with.

I connect best with couples who are open-minded, relaxed and excited to make the wedding feel like their own rather than following every tradition simply because it is expected. I especially enjoy working with couples who love music, appreciate different cultures and want their guests to genuinely have fun.

How did you get your start in the wedding industry?

It started in 2019 when a close friend asked me to DJ his wedding. I had already been DJing, but that celebration showed me how special weddings are. I loved being trusted with such an important day and seeing how music could bring two families together. That was when I genuinely fell in love with weddings. There has been no looking back since then.

What is your communication style?

Friendly, straightforward and easy-going, but very organised when it matters. I like couples to feel comfortable asking me anything. Before the wedding, I make sure we have covered the important details so that on the day they can relax, enjoy themselves and trust me to handle the music.

Is there a wedding destination or type that’s on your bucket list right now?

I have already had couples travel from North and South America to celebrate their weddings in Europe, so I would love to return the favour and DJ a wedding in the Americas. A destination wedding in New York, Miami, the Caribbean, Brazil or somewhere completely unexpected like Hawaii would definitely be a bucket-list experience.
