The 2026 Best of the Best Wedding Photo Contest FAQ
Image Requirements:
How should I submit my images?
As we receive such a large quantity of image submissions, we request that you send us your image entries via our submission form.
What rules do you have about post-production edits?
Diptychs, triptychs, and similar photo combinations are allowed and will be considered as a single photo and should be combined into one image file. Removing distractions, such as an exit sign or leaves on the ground, is permitted, along with composites of two images taken on the same day. Using AI to generate elements or embellish reality, such as adding flowers or changing the background, is not allowed. See the Rules for the details.
Can I submit an image if it’s been featured on a blog?
This all depends on that blog’s exclusivity policy. If you still have rights to the image, you can submit it to our contest.
If my photos have been published on the Junebug blog, can I still submit them to the contest?
Of course!
How should I label my images?
You don't need to label your images for judging. The submission form records who entered each photo, and judges review all entries anonymously, without seeing the entrant’s name.
What size do my images need to be?
Each image must be a JPEG (.jpg) file no larger than 25 MB. Images must not include watermarks or logos.
What are the date restrictions for the images submitted?
Your photos must have been taken between October 1st, 2025 and November 19, 2026.
Are styled shoots/workshop photos allowed?
No. Styled shoots and workshop photos are not allowed.
What type of shoots are allowed in the wedding contest?
All entries must depict wedding or elopement day coverage. No pre-wedding/post-wedding coverage is allowed. We do fact-check, so please do not submit photos that do not qualify.

Do I need to submit my images when I pay for my submission?
Yes. You’ll upload your photos through the entry form before paying, then review your complete entry before submitting. Once your entry is submitted, you can’t add or change photos, so make sure everything is ready before you finalize your submission.
I’m submitting images for a business with several photographers. What should I do?
Please submit a separate entry for each photographer whose work you’re entering. Each photographer must enter individually so judges can clearly identify the photographer behind each winning image.
How do I know that you received my submission?
You will receive a confirmation email. If for some reason you do not receive this email, please drop us a line at [email protected].
I emailed yesterday about a problem with my submission and no one has responded yet? Did you get my email?
During contest submission periods, we typically receive anywhere from 100-200 emails per day (on top of the normal emails we receive every day). We do our best to attend to each email as quickly as possible, and just ask that you be patient with us.
Payments:
How much does it cost to enter this photo contest?
Non-Junebug Vendors can submit up to 15 images for $32. Junebug Vendors can submit up to 15 images for $20 or choose to submit up to 3 images for free. You can also add 5 additional images for $5, up to a maximum of 20 images per entry.
Who qualifies as a Junebug Vendor?
A Junebug Vendor is a wedding professional or business with an active Premium listing in our vendor directory. The entry form verifies your email address against our directory and applies the discounted Junebug Vendor rate when it finds a match.
If you’re a Junebug Vendor but were charged the standard entry fee, email us to request a refund of the difference. Interested in becoming a Junebug Vendor? Apply to join our vendor directory.
I need an invoice for tax purposes. How can I get one?
If you need an invoice for your contest entry fee, please email [email protected].
Why hasn't my submission fee payment shown up in my bank account?
It may take 1-3 days for your submission fee payment to appear in your bank records, depending on your bank. If we have any issues processing your transaction, we will contact you!
Can I withdraw my entry and get a refund?
Yes! If you request to withdraw your entry before submissions close, email us and we’ll remove your entry and refund the full submission fee to your original payment card. We’ll also refund duplicate entries submitted by mistake. After submissions close, withdrawal requests are no longer eligible for a refund. For full details, see our contest rules.
I’m unhappy with the collection results, can I get a refund?
No, and don’t be a sore loser :)
