My Dad and I are going to dance to Cinderella by Steven Curtis Chapman. I'm really excited, it took me ages to find a sappy father-daughter song that wasn't country and John Mayer's "Daughters" wasn't an option. Little did I know, it was on WeddingWire waiting for me the whole time. =) My Dad's going to try and be stoic, but I know it'll make him cry.

My father and I will be dancing to Soulshine by Gov't Mule.  That is his favorite band and he goes to their concerts every time they are in town.  I thought it would make a great surprise for him!

I love the fact that my dad approached me and asked if he could pick the song that we would dance to.  I have no idea what he is going to choose but he is a HUGE music fan of all genre's so I can't wait to see what song he has picked.  I know he is going to choose from his heart and knowing I love surprises, this is going to be one of the best :)

I'm so excited to recess following our ceremony to "You're My Best Friend" by Queen.  I think it will be a perfect way to end our ceremony and transition into the fun part of the night - the reception!

My girlfriends and I have had an obsession with Thriller since we were little kids. It has nothing to do with my wedding, but I'm going to have the DJ play it anyway just for laughs. My dad and I are going to dance to "You Raise Me Up" by Josh Groben.

I am going to walk down the aisle to "Gold" from the Once soundtrack.  It had a beautiful instrumental introduction and then goes into the lyrics..."And I love her so, I wouldn't trade her for gold"

Our first song will be "All I Ask of You" from Phantom of the Opera. Ceremony songs will be "In Christ Alone" and "Come Thou Fount." My Dad and I will dance to Tim McGraw's "My Little Girl." And the best news of all is that my reception hall has an iPod dock in the wall that connects to the entire facility with built-in speakers inside and out. How awesome is that!?!

We are planning on doing an iPod wedding (and yet we don't have iPods!) because we both realized that there are way too many songs that were on our "must play" list -- we decided to just do it ourselves!  Every time we listen to the radio and a really great song comes on that makes us want to jam out, we immediately say, "Oh, that has to be played at the wedding!"  We have everything from Journey to Taylor Swift to Norah Jones to Sublime!  Boston, Smasthmouth, Hootie, the Stones...we can't wait!

Since my fiance and I are both life-long musicians and singers, music will be a HUGE part of the wedding. We will have a variety of tunes from Sinatra, to James Morrison, and Fleetwood Mac to Tim McGraw just to name a few. We want everyone to feel comfortable and have fun, and we hope our music will reflect that. :)

We're recessing to "If I Had Words To Make a Day for You" (which comes from my alltime favorite move, Babe.  I'm also super excited about "It's the End of the World As We Know It" (it's a l joke between my guy and me since neither one of us wanted to get married - until we met each other of course- so we like to think our wedding is the end of the world...our single, separate worlds and the beginning of our new, couple world).

I want to dance to PYT (Pretty Young Thing) by Michael Jackson! Not only do I LOVE that song but it reminds me of dancing with my dad in our living room when I was a little girl. He had the Thrilled record (no CDs then!) and we used to rock out together. Plus, it's about doting on the pretty girl of your dreams!

Mike and I are walking down the aisle to Lullaby by the Dixie Chicks. His brother is a musician and arranged the music so that it could be played by a string quartet!

Um, I know that this evokes a love-it-or-hate-it relationship with brides everywhere; but I'm SO looking forward to watching my dear HTB bust out the Electric Slide. The poor guy has been absolutely fretting being the stumbling center of attention on the dance floor, so I figured the best way to get him out there is with an easy group line dance! We've been Electric Sliding in our living room for practice -- with only the dogs as an audience for now!

I absolutely cannot wait to dance and sing loudly to Journey's "Don't Stop Believing" surrounded by everyone I love.

We danced to "Life is Beautiful" by Keb Mo.  Best part of the whole day!!!  We also had my husbands friends (whom he was in Glee Club with in college) sing Beibl's Ave Maria during communion.  Then we joined them right before our prounouncement and sang the Irish Blessing.  I was SO nervous that I would cry my way through it, but I was so happy to be married to him, I did't cry at all.  Loved it!!  

I'm glad to see other people have a sense of humor and don't take themselves too seriously! My fiance and I are also considering  walking into the reception to It's the End of the World As We Know It (REM). Well, it's that or Another One Bites the Dust (Queen).

Our first dance is going to be Astral Weeks by Van Morrison.  It was the song we fell in love to (laying on our backs, arms touching, staring at the ceiling of my Chicago apartment with traffic blaring in the background). Every time we play it, in my car, or on record in the house, we both instantly get quiet and the butterflies swarm.  I know if our vows don't make us cry, this will. And we aren't concerned in the slightest that it's 6 minutes long.

My father and I have been dancing to the theme song from Footloose since I was 2 months old - you can bet it'll be our father-daughter dance at the wedding! I can't imagine doing the slow dance thing together....it's just not us :)

My Dad and I will be dancing to the Love theme from "St. Elmo's Fire" by David Foster. The story goes... when I was a toddler I loved that song so much that I would make my Dad stop and dance with me no matter where we were. True story- I even made him stop in and dance with me in a mall. It's always been a special song for us.

My Fiance and I will be dancing to "Shama Lama Ding Dong" by Otis Redding. You might recognize it from the club in the movie "Animal House." One of our first dates ended with us dancing to that song.

At the reception hall we will be announced as Mr. & Mrs. as we walk in with Jimi Hendrix "Purple Haze" playing. There is no special story here we just think the its a cool/powerful song to get the party going.

My dad and I are going to have our dance to "Sharp Dressed Man" by ZZTop. We're both really emotional and I'm the baby of the family and we really didn't want to just sob for 5 minutes in front of everyone we know, so we decided that we'll just shake it to that rockin' song. I'm thinking of having our DJ introduce it very straight faced just so that when the first riff hits, the crowd will go a little nuts.

My dad and I will dance to "Father and Daughter" by Paul Simon.  The first time I heard it, I was at college out of state and I teared up, feeling very homesick.  A few weeks later, he sent me the lyrics to the same song in an email -- I hadn't told him about the song at all, he just heard it and thought of me.  It made my day and I can't imaging having our dance to any other song.

I'm not sure what I'm dancing to with my Dad but something like "Summertime" by Ella Fitzgerald would be sweet.

Our entrance song is going to be "Love You Madly" by Cake. When we were dating, on our first anniversary I made a little video/photo montage of all the things we had done together over the year and set it to this song. From time to time we'll sit down and watch the video to remember where we came from and I know when we hear the song at the wedding we'll both be remembering the early days!

K, I know this is nerdy, but I'm SO excited to play "Single Ladies - Put a Ring on It" for the bouquet toss!  If I know my ladies they'll be laughing hysterically...  Can't wait.  Oh, and my fiance just specially requested we have Hank Williams Jr.'s "Family Tradition" on tap to dedicate to his family.

We had to get some Mark Mothersbaugh in our wedding, so we're planning to walk down the aisle to "Loquasto International Film Festival" from the Life Aquatic soundtrack.  It's an amazing instrumental piece that won't be too unusual for the more traditional family members.

We're also going to put "Somebody's Getting Married" from The Muppets Take Manhattan into the reception playlist!

My fiance and i are doing two unique things, both musical.  The first represents my culture.  We're going to sing a Lithuanian song as we leave the church.  My family is Lithuanian and will all sing their hearts out for me.  The lyrics are special because it is the story of a courtship where the gentleman plants a Rue plant, which then grows, and later becomes a garland/crown for his beloved.  The last verse is about how they get married.  Traditionally, Lithuanian brides wear crowns of Rue, I plan to have some in my hair.  We plan to teach the song to everyone at the rehearsal dinner so more people feel comfortable singing.

Secondly, we've chosen Keepin' it Real by Mason Jennings for our first song.  What my fiance doesn't know is that my little brother's band will perform our first song live for us and our guests.   I think it will be a great surprise.

I'm so glad you're doing a second contest, because we have everything *but* the first dance song decided.

Processional - "Words for Two" Six Organs of Admittance - it's soft and  lovely and wistful and I love the line about sleeping hand in hand, since that's how we fall asleep every night.

Recessional - "Here Comes the Sun" Beatles - this is in honor of my aunt, who passed away when I was small, but who used this as the recessional in her wedding, even though the church where she was getting married strictly forbade heathen music.

Father-Daughter dance - "Cheek to Cheek" Ella Fitzgerald and Louis Armstrong - When I was very young my dad used to pick me up and we'd dance cheek to cheek, mostly to the Annie soundtrack.  My dad is pretty emotionally reserved, so I secretly hope this will make him cry.

To get everyone on the dance floor - "Let's Stay Together" Al Green, just because I love it and it's so catchy.

For my Canadian guests - "Home for a Rest" Spirit of the West.  Everyone will shriek the words and whirl in a circle and be generally indecorous.

Cake cutting - "Sweet Caroline" Neil Diamond - because we are huge Red Sox fans, and good times never seemed so good.

He is very excited to have found a violin player and an accordéon player for the ceremony, and then he found a great band for the reception!

I just know that there will be classic dancing since he loves dancing the waltz with his daughters. I know it will be perfect since he is a big music fan and knows his stuff.

My dad and I will be dancing to "I Loved Her First" by Heartland. The first time I heard this song I just started crying it was so touching to me. My mom died when I was two months old so I grew up extremely close to my dad. A lot of the memories described in the song, such as him reading fairy-tales over and over again to me and tucking me into bed each night are memories I hold close to my heart. He is also the reason why I love country music, as our roatrips in the car would be filled with hours and hours of country music. It is a very touching song for an amazing guy and incredible father.

We're just starting to pick songs but we have to include 'Time to Goof Off' from the Neverhood soundtrack. The Neverhood is one of my favorite games of all time, and we're looking forward to seeing everyone and having fun!

I have picked all of the music I want played before the ceremony, during the prelude, and what I am walking down the aisle to.  They are all songs that mean something to us as a couple, but they are performed by the Vitamin String Quartet, so they are all string songs.  The best is that our DJ can play them and we save on having ceremony musicians.  The songs include "Just Like Heaven" by The Cure, "All You Need is Love" by The Beatles, "God Only Knows" by the Beach Boys, "Yellow" by Coldplay for my bridesmaids to walk down the aisle (it is beautiful in strings and our main wedding color is yellow and we're getting married outside so it will be sunny and cheerful) and "I'm Yours" by Jason Mraz for after the ceremony and we walk down the aisle as husband and wife!

My fiancee and I met through music and share a deep appreciation for many genres of music. We had some AWESOME engagement photos taken in an old school record store and we are both very excited to make our musical selections for our wedding as unique as our musical tastes are!!  As of right now... (we've already changed our first dance song THREE TIMES and have finally settled on The Watson Twins cover of  The Cure's "Just Like Heaven") I will be walking down the aisle to a string version of Jeff Buckley's Hallelujah. I'm wicked excited to make the final selections for all our other ceremony music.

My fiance holds a special place in my heart not for the great years we've spent together nor for the amazing memories. He holds a special place in heart and soul because he is the first person, the first individual in my life to ever allow me to become my own. He never judged me and loved me for 'the beautiful mess inside'. And because of that I have chosen to walk down the aisle to the the song "Far, Far" by Yael Naim. It expresses all the emotions I have for my beloved.

When it's time to start the dancing we're going to be dancing to Rock the Casbah by The Clash because we have memories tied to that with my college roommate, my father, and my brother  who is probably going to like that song more than any of the others we're playing that night.  They already know that we're playing that song and EVERYONE is anticipating dancing to it.  It should be a huge dance number and lots of fun to dance to!!!

Paul and I want "Do You Realize," by The Flaming Lips, played as we enter the reception. Paul calls this song, "the happiest, sad song ever written.

We are going to use Bjork's "Almost Like Being in Love," off of her first album, DEBUT, as "our song."

It works on so many levels. We saw Bjork last year in Chicago and it was very bonding. We are also having our friend play the Chinese harp (although she is Japanese herself) during our ceremony; the harp in "Almost LIke Being in Love," will kind of keep that thread alive.

We also like the song, because it's short.

We are trying to find a decent song rendition of a Scottish poem by Robert Burns, called "My Luve." We had the poem printed on the side of our personalized water bottle labels and if we played it, it would increase the meaning. We are also going to Scotland (and England) on our honeymoon, so a beautiful, Scottish song would work lovely.

The stars truly aligned so that we could afford our honeymoon, air tickets. Yes, it is true; we don't have an IPOD, but we are going to Great Britain for 8 days. It's a matter of priorities, I guess. Hmmm....

Before we knew our venue had its own soundsystem, we thought we might get a DJ. Paul, my future husband, wanted to put up a sign listing all of the songs that we DID NOT want to hear at our wedding; if guests wanted them played, there would be a monetary fee. "YMCA," might cost you $10, whereas "The Chicken Dance" might cost $25.

Paul is a music snob and our guests, knowing him, would have found that humorous. It turns out that we are going to do our own music (something that would be vastly easier with an IPOD), so we won't have the "Don't Play" list afterall.

I am walking down the isle to a piano version of Frou Frou's "Let Go" a song that was featured in the movie "Garden State".  We watched it on one of our first dates!  Everyone else is walking down the isle to "A Story Book Love" the theme song from "The Princess Bride".  One of the best movies EVER!

I'm such a huge fan of the Beatles...for the processional when I walk into the church, my fiancee and I are having one of our dearest friends (who is a harpist) play one of my favorite Beatles' songs "Something" on the harp as I walk in...so romantic...

Because my fiancee is a musician, a lot of the music performed at our wedding will be by some of our dearest friends...at the ceremony and the reception. I've chosen "The Way You Look Tonight" as my father/daughter dance and our dearest friend Anita will be singing the romantic tune...

Our first dance will be to Cat Powers cover of Sea of Love.The original is a beautiful song and Chan's captivating voice only makes it that much better. I promised myself I wouldn't cry, but its going to be hard not to!

My fiancee, the musician, wrote some BEAUTIFUL tunes for our wedding day...all will be played throughout the day - from the ceremony in our hometown church, to the reception when we party hard at the ballroom with a vintage flair...it's so great to have that personal touch. I've heard a few tunes, but he's keeping most a secret! =)

What a great contest! So my father daughter dance is Something in the Way She Moves by James Taylor. Taylor was my first concert with my Dad when I was little so I'm excited to incorporate that into our wedding. Also, my mom absolutely loves Old Time Rock and Roll by Bob Seger. I have memories of her rolling down the windows and blasting the radio when it came on in the car. So she and I will be rocking out to that at some point in the reception. It always makes me sad that Mom's don't get a special dance with their daughters so I'm making something special for her too. Some other highlights: Our cake cutting is Led Zepelin Thank You. We're also excited to hear Violet Femmes Blister in the Sun, Cake's Short Skirt Long Jacket, and Coral Dreaming of You. They're so infectious and I can't wait to dance to these with my new hubby!

Before the ceremony, we're going to have string quartet of Guns N Roses songs playing.  And I'm going to walk down the aisle to a string quartet of I can't help falling in love with you.  

This is pretty nontraditional, but our processional is to the bachianas brasilieras by Jose Villa-Lobos.  I played this piece in a string ensemble and absolutely loved the gorgeous soprano line.  Michael Tilson Thomas conducting, with Renee fleming as soprano is our specific recording.

My dad and I are going to dance to "I'm Gonna Love You Forever" by Randy Travis. It's not really the kind of music I listen to now as an adult, but he always tells me that when I was a baby I wouldn't go to sleep unless he held me in the rocking chair and sang that song to me. It's such a sweet story and I know it will mean a lot to him when I surprise him with this song!

I can't wait to hear a friend of mine sing a Swedish song called Säg det igen (Say it again) by Lisa Nilsson about the feeling the very first "I love you" evokes. It is one of the most emotional songs I have ever heard. I cry every time I hear it now -- wonder how much I'll bawl at my wedding!

This might be a little different for a bridal procession but I think I want to walk down the aisle to Sade - Sweetest Taboo!

My father passed away almost 10 years ago, so I'll be dancing with my brother, but we're dancing to Patty Griffin's "Heavenly Day" as a nod to my late father.  It is a beautiful song!

It's tradition in Hawaii to have a slideshow of photos highlighting your dear family, friends, and the journey to a couple's marriage...we've chosen Beatles tunes as our slideshow music as it's MY favorite...

Our first dance is an original song written by my fiancee and played by our dearest friends/guests.

I been reading everyones comments and I'm enjoying the songs some have written.  As for the father/daughter dance, we are dancing to "Angel Baby"  1960 single by Rosie and the Originals.  

Since I was a little girl, my father would sing this to me.  This song is very special to me and will always remind me of my father.  :)  As for the rest of the night, we are having a cover band, a tribute of "The Beatles" we are huge fans of "The Beatles" :)

My fiance and I are dancing our first dance to a song by a relatively unknown but wonderful artist named Meiko who we discovered at a bar in Hollywood.  Her song is called "Reasons to Love You" and it is beautiful and we both love it.  Since no one else has really heard it, we feel like it is private and just for us.

David and I are both music people - we met in a college band.  I am a music teacher, he is still a music education major.  Because of how important music is to both of us, I decided I don't want to do things because it's "tradition".  As appalled as my mother is at the thought, I actually plan to walk down the aisle to the wedding processional from "Sound of Music."  She forgets that she introduced me to the movie, and doesn't see the nod to old and new.  My fiance does though and supports the musical decisions to come!

I absolutely LOVE Ella Fitzgerald and her rendition of the Gershwin songbooks.  My fiance doesn't know it, but I'm surprising him with a big band and singer for cocktail hour, and I'm going to sing a few songs - Our Love is Here to Stay, The Lady Is A Tramp, and Something's Gotta Give.

We're probably gonna go with "Melt with you", Nouvelle Vague's version.  Nostalgic and sweet.

I'm walking down the aisle to "Strawberry Swing" by Coldplay.  I love the strings and the drum - kind of Celtic almost!

My dad and I are dancing to The Prayer by Josh Groban, while not wedding or father/daughter related persay...it's a song that means a lot to both of us.  For my husband's and my entrance into the reception we are being announced to the tune "Shipping up to Boston" by Drop Kick Murphy.  We met and lived in Boston for a number of years and are also HUGE Red Sox fans as are a lot of our wedding guests.  Anyone who is a Red Sox fan will recognize the bagpipe intro in the song instantly.  When the suprise Groom's cake (Red Sox themed cake) is brought out, the song Sweet Caroline by Neil Diamond will be played, again another famous Red Sox reference and I know my hubby will love it!

I am walking down the aisle to "Lullaby" by The Dixie Chicks, it is such a beautiful and meaningful song. My fiance and I are dancing to "Stay with you" by John legend. My Dad is picking our our song, so I have no idea, but I'm sure it will be beautiful :)

As my fiance is a music producer and we're both singers, music is gonna play a huge role on setting our wedding ceremony's tone.

For the processional song, I've chosen "Songbird", by Eva Cassidy. It's a very sweet emotional tune for us, and as I walk down the aisle, my fiance will play it on his guitar and probably rock my world on a tear-drop-kinda-solo.

He is also singing after the vows a secret song he wrote for his future wife a long time ago. He never sang it to anyone, for he's been waiting to sing it only for his bride on the wedding day. And now it's me. It's one moment I just can't wait to happen.

For the recessional we wanted a song that would put a big smile on every face there. We couldn't think of any other artist who can do it than our beloved Stevie Wonder, with the always fun and exciting tune "Signed, Sealed, Delivered (I'm Yours)".

As we're better singers than dancers, we decided to have our first duet instead of our first dance, as a surprise to our guests. We're gonna sing a duet of Michael Buble and Nelly Furtado's "Quando, Quando, Quando". Of course we're gonna dance a little bit during the song, but it's just an excuse to do what we love more: to sing!

Oh, and for my dad's dance he asked for "Moon River", which always bring us both to tears.

My dad and I will be dancing to "Always be your Baby" by Natalie Grant.  It's going to be unique because midway through the song I will have my step-dad come in and ask me to dance.  They have both played wonderful fatherly roles in my life and I want to celebrate that :)

I am walking down the aisle to "I want to hold your hand" by the Beatles, but sung by T.V. Carpio from the movie musical Across the Universe.  It is a beautiful vocal and is under 2 minutes long, which is good, because I have a short aisle to walk down!

We're hoarding our processional pick (I know, so selfish!), but also want to incorporate some Sufjan Stevens and Jose Gonzales into the ceremony --  love that their music is beautiful and feels intimate.   I'm also digging the idea of Cat Power's "Sea of Love" cover for a recessional, or pre-ceremony.

I'm walking down the aisle to the Beatles Here, There, and Everywhere. and our recessional is going to be the Beach Boys Wouldn't it be Nice. Our first dance will be to Queen's Your My Best Friend. But I'm actually most exciting for the father-daughter dance. My dad and I will dance to the Beatles In My Life - it's just so us!

My dad and I chose "It's a Wonderful World" for our father-daughter dance song.  However, things did not go exactly as planned!  A huge storm came through during our cocktail hour and left us without power for next three hours at our outdoor reception.  My dad and I ended up standing on the lawn, surrounded by friends and family, who started singing "You've Lost That Loving Feeling" while my dad and I twirled around in the grass.  Appropriate song?  Well, probably not, but still one of my favorite wedding day memories- I'll never forget it!

My dad and I are dancing to "Isn't she lovely" by Stevie Wonder.  

We are walking down the aisle with "Real Love" The Beatles (original track). We are huge fans of John Lennon and felt this song was appropriate for us.  As for our first dance and LITERALLY I mean our first dance because he has never danced with me out on the floor, we are dancing to cover song of  "This Guy is in Love With You" by Noel Gallagher. SERIOUSLY I can't wait to dance with him as husband and wife :)

My fiance and his mom are going to dance to Creedence Clearwater Revival's "Who'll Stop the Rain." The same year she gave birth to my fiance, her brother died in an accident along with his new wife.  She named my fiance after her brother, and this song has always reminded her of him. There will be lots of tears I am sure.

Our walk downt he aisle will be to a piano version of "Beauty & the Beast" my sister found. "the Beast" may not sound appropriate but I am a Disney freak! Beatuy & the Beast is my favorite princess movie.

My father and I will be dancing "Sleep Walk" by Johnny & Santo. It was my parents wedding song 25 years ago. I have two sisters and we have all vowed to dance this song with my father.

My "husband" and I will dance to "Sea of Love" by Phil Phillips. We are old souls and it was a toss up between a 50's oldie or a Dean Martin (my other love)...I gave the choice to my fiance...he deserved one choice =)

Mi dad and I will be dancing to a Luna de Xelaju, a marimba song!

I am going to walk down the aisle to "I'm a Believer" by the Monkees!

"I loved her first" by Heartland is our father daughter dance.  it's so perfect for us.

We're totally playing Beyonce's "Single Ladies" for the bouquet toss and Britney Spear's "Womanizer" for the garter toss....HAHA!

Our recessional song as we walk down the aisle as husband and wife will be "All You Need is Love" by the Beatles...a beautiful piece by our harpist!!!!!!

After watching Slumdog Millionaire and know the story of from rags to riches all too well, "Jai Ho" will be a must played song at our reception!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My dad and I are dancing to "Isn't she lovely" by Stevie Wonder and my mom and I, along with the ladies, are going to have some fun to "Dancing Queen" by ABBA!

Our cocktail hour will definitely be straight ahead jazz - LIVE jazz too! We can't wait! =)

we're having a steel drum band play, and the bridesmaids are walking down the aisle to “Girl from Ipanema”!  I think it will be such a fun way to get everyone in a celebratory mood.

I can't wait to walk down the aisle to the instrumental version of A Dream is a Wish Your Heart Makes!  I feel it is the theme song to my life :) plus I am a huge Disney fan

"if not for you" is a contender for first dance--bob dylan's song, but we'll use the derek webb and sandra mccracken version off their "ampersand" album--Ah-MAZING album...and the fact that they sing them together as husband and wife is just too adorable! their "when the summer's gone" will hopefully get playtime too-- "you are the one to whom my heart belongs." sigh. :)

I am excited about Motown!  Everyone can enjoy it, sing along and have a great time.  Not to mention great to dance to.  Very upbeat too!

Our recessional is Signed, Sealed, Delivered by Stevie Wonder... one of my favorites.

I'm going to sing the old Carpenter's song Only Yesterday as a surprise for my husband. I am 38 and am getting married for the first time, so it was actually Only Yesterday that my heart was sad and lonely :). The lyrics are just spot on. And it is in fact the very first song I remember loving as a child! it is very special to me, and I hope it will be to my husband too!

I can't wait to see my fiancee walking down the aisle to a Beatles' tune that I arranged...it's the musician in me.

One of my bridesmaids moved from NY to Japan two years ago and she really misses hearing and dancing to Reggaeton (oh the streets of NY!), I can't wait to party hard with her and dedicate a few Reggaeton tunes in memory of our graduate school days in NYC!  

My father daughter dance is Cheek to Cheek by Fred Astaire.

Our recessional song will be All You Need is Love by The Beatles.

My fiancee and I are dancing to "This guy is in love with you". We are very happy and excited with our selection.

My fiance's cousin will be singing "Bubbly" by Colbie Caillat and my sister will be playing the song on her guitar.   I'm looking forward to hearing them perform together!

I can't wait to hear the crazy Russian dance music blasting and watching everyone get down to it.

Our song is "Secret Smile" by Semisonic, and we're using it for our LAST dance, right before we make our exit.

I've thought about songs for a long time, but I always get stuck because there are so many nice ones. We definitely want a diversity of music that describes us best, but also our guests would enjoy as well. I've been a fan of Joe Hiashi (I'm not even sure if that's spelled correctly) instrumental music for awhile now. And I highly recommend people to listen to him or at least view performances by him on the piano on youtube. Anyway, there's a particular song called, "Rain" that always gets to me. It has a beautiful melody and I definitely hope it is one of the songs we will dance to. We'll see :)

My dad and I aren't traditional, and because he was so young when I was born, he's always been more of a friend than a stern father figure, so we're going to share a dance to "You've got a friend in me" from the Toy Story soundtrack (Randy Newman).  I don't think there's anything  more adorable than that.

I can't wait for the wedding! My dad and I are going to dance to "Butterfly Kisses" and then half way through the song the band is going to stop-we are going to break out into a fast dance to "Gotta Get Get" an surprise everyone!!! Then my future husband will be dancing with his mother to "In Your Eyes". They will dance a little longer so people will start to yawn off then BOOM! The band will change and sing "Poker Face". It will be a night to remember!
