We don’t have a single favorite moment — and that is very intentional. Every wedding holds equal value in our hearts. We chose this profession because we love all of it: the quiet anticipation, the behind-the-scenes chaos, the tears, the laughter, the family embraces, the energy on the dance floor. It would feel wrong to highlight just one moment, because every story is unique. What moves us most is authenticity — and we find that at every single wedding.

What’s your favorite aspect of your job?

The intensity of the wedding day. A wedding gathers anticipation, vulnerability, family history, celebration, and future dreams — all within a few hours. Transforming that emotional complexity into timeless art is what fulfills us every time.

What aspect of your job never ceases to give you butterflies or make you excited?

The moments right before the ceremony begins. That stillness. That electricity in the air. And later, when couples watch their film for the first time and fall in love with their own story all over again — that feeling never gets old.

What achievement, moment, or success are you most proud of in your career?

We are proud that we built our path intentionally. We started with no budget, just passion and vision. Step by step, we grew into the refined segment we work in today. But above all, we are proud of the trust couples place in us. Being invited to capture such intimate and meaningful moments is the greatest honor.

What is your favorite thing to do when not working?

We love traveling with our children (20 and 18) and truly enjoying life together. “Dolce Vita” describes it best — sunshine, good food, long conversations, laughter, and lightness. This appreciation for life and beauty naturally flows into our work.

How did you get your start in the wedding industry?

Carlos’ passion for photography and film began in childhood, but for years it remained quietly tucked away. His first wedding was for friends — unpaid. Shortly after, we were booked for another wedding for 100 euros. That moment opened a world we had never imagined. Marilena initially started by carrying Carlos’ camera bags — and unexpectedly discovered her own love for photography. What began as support turned into a shared vision. Today, we work side by side as husband and wife — and that lived experience shapes the way we tell love stories.

What part of your business are you best at?

Our greatest strength is the balance between professionalism and humanity. Our clients often mention our warmth, flexibility, and ability to adapt. Then we give space for every question. Most couples are planning a wedding for the first time — they often don’t know where to begin. We guide them gently, intuitively recognizing their style, their dynamic, and what makes them unique.

Is there a wedding destination or type that’s on your bucket list right now?

We are drawn to warmth, elegance, and atmosphere. A finca in Spain, a barefoot beach wedding, a villa at Lake Como, a celebration in Southern Italy — or even a refined, modern event in Dubai. Whether Mediterranean, luxurious, minimalist, or spontaneous — we adapt to the aesthetic and energy of each celebration.
