What is your specialty or personal style?
Our style is documentary with a modern editorial touch. We believe life happens, and we’re there to witness it—observing, anticipating, and capturing genuine moments as they naturally unfold. At the same time, we know when to step in and guide you, whether that means finding the perfect spot for golden hour or creating a timeless portrait your family will treasure. The result is a mix of candid, photojournalistic storytelling and polished, intentional portraits.
How did you get your start in the wedding industry?
We started our journey in 2015 as Small Studios, with a simple belief that weddings are filled with moments worth remembering exactly as they happened. Over the years, that little idea grew into hundreds of weddings, countless stories, and a team that became passionate about doing this work really, really well. In 2023, we rebranded as What A Story, a name that better reflects what we've always been about: telling the story of every wedding through the people, places, emotions, and moments that make it completely unique.
