What is your specialty or personal style?
I offer a professional, fun, and unobtrusive approach to destination wedding and portrait photography. Shot in both the candid and traditional styles, I capture and edit images to reflect a "true color" tone, allowing these special moments to be looked at and enjoyed for generations to come!
What achievement, moment, or success are you most proud of in your career?
With over twenty years of photographic experience, I've had the opportunity to work with a variety of couples. When my clients have a good experience collaborating with me and are happy with their images, that is a "moment of success" for me. I've also had my work featured in various publications around the globe.
Do you have payment plans available?
Yes!
What is your favorite thing to do when not working?
When I'm not working with my clients, I teach photography. Sharing my knowlege of photography has always been a passion. Directly after earning my MFA, I became a college professor. I am currently writing and teaching courses for The University of California - San Diego Extended Studies, Maine Media Workshops, and Sessions College. I also offer photo tours, mentorships, and am available for workshops through Fiander Foto.
I’m also the Founder and President of the Professional Photographer’s Association of Bermuda (PPA BDA). This is a non-profit assisting professional full time photographers and videographers in Bermuda.
Couples hire you because…
I interact with my couples on a professional and personal level; making them feel comfortable before the the wedding day even arrives. I offer my clients a unique experience where real moments are captured. Couples receive a collection of carefully selected and edited photos.
Is there a wedding destination or type that’s on your bucket list right now?
Because I live and work on a tropical island, I really enjoy spending time and photographing mountainous landscapes. With this - I'd love to capture a wedding in the Dolomite Mountains and the Isle of Skye; those two locations are fairly high on my "bucket list".
