Right now I'm thinking of making garlands made with tissue paper flowers and paper florettes for the back of the chairs.

My fiance and I are getting married October 2nd, 2010 in the hometown we both grew up in. We have been very inspired by a lot of natural elements like trees, bark, and floral accents. Our centerpieces are going to be placed on top a circular piece of wood and we will be making a cake stand out of the same material. We have chosen chivari chairs in a natural wood color to coordinate with our organic feel. For our honeymoon we are going to California to wine country and we are turning wine bottles into table numbers and corks into escort cards. It has been a blast planning our wedding and I cannot wait to see the finished product.

We are going with bold, beachy colors--lime green and turquoise. We are a fun and very non-traditional wedding on the ocean. We will have croquet and bocce set up on the ocean-view lawn and will be very whimsical! i can't wait! I want to use large balloons for the ceremony chairs, tied with twine, and want a bold design element to carry through the entire wedding from invitation, to decor, to thank yous!

I am just giddy with excitement for this giveaway! Our wedding style is one big, fun and pretty party! I hope our friends and family walk away that night saying to each other how much fun they had ("and weren't those pies delicious")!

The one thing I know my fiance and I absolutely want to see in our wedding decor is that it reflects our relationship. I want to include details like naming tables after places and things that are special to us. And the Bella Cupcake Couture wrappers would especially be perfect! My fiance proposed by having my favorite bakery create cupcakes that spelled out "Will you marry me?"

I'm hoping for a frosty winter wedding.  Praying for snow, wearing fur on my shoulders, carrying cold white and grey bouquets.  I like the idea of a chilly winter wedding, because I feel like it accents even more the warmth of love, and of the event.  

We're getting married in a gorgeous historic mansion that very much reminds me of an Italian villa.  Hence, my vision is of an elegant, old-world garden party.  I'm thinking grecian urns, antique bird cages, fluffy roses in pale pinks, peaches and creams, and of course, lots of candles.

I'm making decorative pomanders (pom-poms) out of several shades of tulle.  They're time-intensive, but not difficult to make and look very much like the super-expensive floral balls.  I can't wait to see them lining the aisle as I walk down with my Dad :)

My wedding is in October in the Georgia mountains - a fall wedding with deeps reds, oranges, and golds.  My decor - velvet grape leaves with gold candle holders, vines of fall leaves sprayed in gold glitter, gold manzanita tree with escort cards, champagne and deep reed table cloths, lots of candle light and twinkle lights for a romantic atmosphere...

We're going with a country/rustic theme...so mostly I'm excited to just get all the little details (cake/desert table, mason jars, lots of candles) together to really portray the relaxed/casual/fun feeling.  We plan to have yard games which I'm super stoked about too!

Our wedding style will be really classic, romantic, and timeless, without being too formal or stuffy. Really relaxed and intimate but both of us don't want a trendy wedding! Think j.crew and the gap meet a wedding! Some of the details I am excited about would be the cake made by my sister, the cigar bar for my dad and groom, our slideshow and possible SDE - the list is endless! We are trying to take a very DIY route so I would like our personalities to be seen through all the little details!

Our theme is definitely rustic.  Lots of faux bois details, twine used to wrap my bouquet (and on invites where that twine would come in SOOO handy!), and tree stumps for pie stands.  EEEeee.. I can't wait to see it all come together!!

My fiance and I are hoping for a classy, rustic/vintage, and of course fun wedding! The spot we are getting married at, Hecker Pass Winery, is owned by an Italian couple who moved from Italy to the states and opened up the winery. They have cool vintage grape presses an old bike he used to deliver milk on in Italy.  

All the cool, vintage details are so rad and will add such a fun added element to our special day. Who needs to spend money on decorations when they have so many cool, vintage things on the property all ready!!

we've decided on a timeless and classic black + cream combination, with accents of apple green and lemongrass. 'rustic chic' will abound: handmade paper goods, garden-y bouquets, lots of moss and candlelight. it will be perfect for a mid-july evening!

So far my favorite wedding detail has been buttons! We are putting 1 1/4" pin back buttons on each escort card. They are all funny and bright and I hope to see wedding guests wearing them all night long. I am designing each button with a certain guest in mind so I hope that they will all think that the buttons are a lot of fun. My goal is to have the wedding be one huge party.

I'm tuity-fruity, so I'm trying to bring fruit (pomegranates + apples especially) into the design....it's a fine line between FUN and OVERBOARD.

I couldn't possibly give a name to what my and my fiancé's wedding style is all about. But I can profess our desire to create a setting with unabashed beauty, intimacy, old world charm and warmth in abundance!

Black, Tan, White & Cream with shades of Yellow, Peach, Olive and accents of Silver & Gold will be used throughout the decor along with a Vintage Bee-Motif and the textural element of twine and burlap. I am hand making burlap pillow covers and stenciling the bee design in black on some, or tying black ribbon on others (this might be my favorite detail!) for our lounge area.  On 10.10.10 we are to wed under an old ash tree overlooking the misty mountain tops on a private ranch house, surrounded by close family and friends (and wild peacocks, horses & billy goats that roam free on the ranch!) Thrifted vintage chandeliers, lanterns and birdcages hanging from trees, BBQ for dinner & pies for dessert! Planning this sweet soiree with my fiance has been exhilarating!

We are going for a romantic, French-garden feel for our outdoor Seattle wedding, but are aiming to still keep it feeling relaxed and fun. Colors will be gray and lavender and I plan on walking barefoot down the (grass) aisle. no tuxes, no matching bridesmaid dresses - kind of French garden meets hippie, if that makes sense!

   I absolutely adore all of the items in your giveaway! I am marrying the love of my life on September 25, 2010 and I couldnt be more excited about our future together!

   My color scheme is black and white and we'd like a classic, traditional style but with a few new and modern flairs!  My planning has only just begun but I do find inspiration from the many blogs and websites just as this one.  We are getting married in the small town where my fiance grew up and it is where we fell in love.  The historic and rustic community adds the perfect vintage and romantic vibe!

Originally I was going to do a traditional garden theme. But we found a reception venue that is too good to pass up - a real Asian pagoda, given to my city as a gift. It was in disrepair but a foundation formed to fix it up, and now it's a beautiful oasis in the middle of a noisy town. So now I'm thinking an Asian theme. I've got 1000 origami cranes (in our wedding colors), we're using a wishing box as a guest book (like the Japanese use for their New Year's wishes), and we're just seeing how things go from there. Hopefully everything will be beautiful, and not just like we're trying too hard! :)

I'm making garlands with circles of felt and chiffon hot glued on! I've seen DIY's all over the web to do this to make headbands, belts, lamps and think they are so beautiful. In peaches and off-white!

We are having our wedding at my fiancé's parents house which he grew up in that is back in the woods. We want it to be a little woodsy to represent the area, but mostly light with fun countryish accents. For the centerpieces we going to use clear bottles we have been collecting and cut them at different angles and turn them into vases that we will fill with flowers. I plan on collecting vintage yellow napkins and use those instead of renting. My fiancé is making little cake toppers of us out of sculptie. I really want to make pennants out of mismatching fabrics in our colors, pale pink, yellow and a sherbet orange. I am in love with that bakers twine and I think it would look adorable to string the pennant from. I am so excited to start making everything! Thanks' for letting me ramble. :)

I am thinking of making homemade signs for my beach wedding with my color scheme - chocolate brown, cream and coral.  Also, having a basket full of flip flops for the guests to change into!

I am making my own favors, table cards, and programs.  All with my colors of navy blue and cream.  I can't wait to get creative with stamps, ribbons and lots of photoshop!!

Our wedding style is currently being described as natural, organic, rustic, and "vintagey." Our inspirations are anything that are fun, sunny, warm, welcome, and classic. We are keeping the decor simple and letting the natural surroundings inspire us. The garden ceremony will simply be decorated with a few flower petals here and there and the reception will be candle lit with simple silk flower centerpieces on wooden boards, giving it a rustic feel. I love small details - like giving our guests vintage handkerchiefs during the ceremony. Our monogram will be seen throughout the day, but instead of the classic monograms, ours will look like a tree carving with the first initials of our names (B+V). I cant wait to see all the details come together!

we're getting married in a very modern space and are playing off that theme by using just black, white and gray and possibly a pop of color. i'm so excited about making our escort cards (on moo design) and table numbers (just spray painting wooden numbers). there are so many ideas i have that i can't wait to try to see how they turn out! this would be an amazing gift to receive.

I am planning to use coordinated ribbon on the centerpieces and the bouquets. I am also making pompoms for the aisle.

My fiance and I are getting married next June in a beautiful loft-like space next to the water in Seattle. Our colors are deep orange and dove gray. We want our decor to have a whimsical, handmade feel, so we're making a ton of tissue paper pom poms and using vintage milk glass vases to hold flowers. There will also be references to llamas scattered throughout wherever I can think of how to incorporate them - so far I have bride and groom llama cupcake toppers and llama escort cards! Also, there will be pops of cobalt blue to accent the gray and orange - like blue napkins. I'll be wearing a tea-lenth silk dress and my fiance has a vintage-inspired suit and beautiful orange accessories.

I wish that I could afford all the details I love and want! Oh well. We're currently trying to find a fresh idea for the bridesmaids to hold instead of flowers, playing with the idea of a feather bouquet. we'll see!

We are having a wedding based around our venue that has a many beautiful chandeliers and mercury mirrors.  I love the silver and gold mercury candle holders for each table.  With the gold and silver mercury candle holders I want to use different elements that add a pop of color.  For the flowers I want to all hues of pink and red.  

My venue space is white walls and hard wood floors - screams to be decorated! I've definitely been inspired by tissue poms from the ceilings, whimsical banners by the desserts and homemade jam - like jars for centerpieces. The twine would be a perfect addition to the banners and centerpieces! Keeping things simple but all flowing together. I'm aiming for a cozy, whimsical, fantasy!

Jason and I are getting married outside in a beautiful meadow at Lake Tahoe.  We are focusing on mostly natural elements (local wildflowers, vines and tree stumps for decor).  We are also finding salvaged wood to put together as partial "chapel" walls at our ceremony site.  We're working on a look that's like a chapel in a meadow was slowly overcome by nature and now there's only a few pieces of walls and windows left.  My crazy mission is to find some stained glass windows we can salvage and hunt for pew benches!

I am having my wedding at this beautiful performing arts center.  Everything is white marble and glass.  I'm still throwing around ideas, but I'm going for black and white with pops of bright apple green...dramatic black tablecloths with white mitsumata branch centerpieces.  I'm looking to balance the hardness of black and white with soft, overflowing flowers in green and white.  I'm a DIY girl and looking to make EVERYTHING I can including our mitsumata centerpieces, stationery, bags for favors and handmade flowers for my bridesmaids, flower girls and myself.  All of these goodies would really help in this monstrous DIY project I've decided to take on!

My biggest inspiration is the color turquoise! This pale pastel-y shade is everywhere in our wedding, from the bridesmaids' dresses to the invitations to the cake. I can't wait to see it all come together!

Our wedding has really brought out my crafty side! I am loving everything with graphic prints in our colors (teal & yellow). A custom designed logo would really tie all this together in an amazing way. It would help with our bold, modern, colorful feel.

DIY all the way!!! I love creating and coordinating all the pieces of the wedding. I particularly enjoy the color combination of pink and brown and the warmth and romance they create together. Wedding favor boxes filled with goodies, love and thank you's. Night's with my bridesmaids and mom over wine and laughter turning invitations and programs from simple paper and ribbon into something breathtaking and unique.  Programs that double as fans to cool off at a hot summer wedding.

Does decorating my girls count?  I'm making them all jewelry to match our red, black, and gold theme - most of them are silver girls, so I wanted to be sure they all had SOMETHING they could wear!

We have bought a ton of white Christmas lights to do our own lighting, and lollipops in our colors to make centerpieces.  It'll be colorful and fun at the same time!

My fiance and I are planning our wedding on his income.I met him in April 08 a few weeks after his father died from Cancer.They spread his ashes in the Wynochee River.It is my idea to have a summer wedding outdoors by the river in July in the same place his father was layed to rest eventhough i never had the chance to meet him we will have him there in spirit watching over us as we say i do.As far as DIY projects we plan on making a wooden cupcake stand and a wooden wedding arch.We really don't have a theme.Our colors are pink,fuschia,brown and white.I am attracted to many things wooden like vases and ring pillows etc.I also have vintage things in the mix also.I want my wedding to be different and unique in every way but kept within a tight budget.Eventhough i don't have the money to have my dream wedding,all that matters is our love for eachother is worth more than all the money in the world and we will become one soon!If we won we would be sooo happy.Thanks for the chance at your giveaway.

Our wedding it's just DIY, it's DIAO (Do It All Ourselves)! We don't want a 'stuffy wedding' and, since we eventually opted NOT to elope, have decided to just throw a huge back-yard bbq style event instead. Our wedding is taking place in a private 40 acre park complete with a lake, canoes, catch-and-release trout fishing, two shelters/pavilions, flushing toilets and plenty of field space for us to set up yard games! Including burlap sack races! Dan's aunt is marrying us, my uncles are manning a grill full of local grass fed beef and free range chicken, my (culinary chef) friend is helping make the sides with food picked up from the farmer's market, we'll also pick up flowers there and each girl will make her own, unique bouquet, one of my bridesmaids offered to be in charge of manning a huge lemonade and ice tea stand, another is in culinary school and is making us a huge array of pies, cheesecake, and wedding cake. Dan will make the cake stands and, if he has time, two adirondack chairs on which I will write out the words of our first dance song "You and Me" by Dave Matthews. My girls will be wearing the blue or grey dress of their choice and I'll make fabric flower belts for them, a friend is making hair pieces for the girls and bouts for the guys, I've folded 652 paper cranes so far (only 348 to go!) and the list keeps going. We want our day to reflect who we are and what means the most to us (besides each other)  - nature, good food, friends, and family. So far the only vendor's going to be our photographers!

We are getting married on 10/2/10 and our reception will be held in an old restored cotton spinning mill.  We are incorporating the elements of autumn in New England and the historic factors of the mill.  Our centerpieces will consist of vases with bittersweet and filled with amber colored marbles and little gourds and votives will also be part of the centerpiece, all sitting on burlap squares.  

Our guest book is actually a print of a tree, and we will use a leaf stamp and ask our guests to sign the family & friends tree!  

The Church aisle will be decorated with homemade pompadours in autumn colors.  

And our favors will be homemade "Stormcakes."  That's my fiance's little side business, he makes Cakes With Spirits.  We plan to use little brown bags, with homemade leaf-shaped "Thank You" notes.  

Our vision is warmth and autumn color as we share our celebration with family and friends.  

Roses, organza, knots, details, shades of grey and blushing pink. I was left to do all the planning for the wedding (go figure) and couldn't think up any concept to make the wedding cohesive. That is until I fell in love with Vera Wang love knots collection and my Vera Wang dress. I wanted whimsical and romantic.

My wedding is going to have a small baseball theme.  We got engaged at a baseball game so our colors will be the team colors of blue and orange.  We will also have a bat for people to sign as our guestbook.  Our venue gives us an ice sculpture so we are going to do the team logo with our new last name instead of the team name.  I am DIYing a ton.  I just finished our STDs which go with the orange and blue theme and will soon be doing the invitations.

Our colors are red and aqua, so that twine would be perfect for sprucing up favor boxes and wrapping around our glass centerpiece vases. We want our decor to feel very us while still not being wasteful. We are trying to cut down on the amount of plastic we use and use found items to spruce things up. Non-floral centerpieces and lots of paper lanterns are in store!

Our wedding decor runs the gamut.  We are getting married in my fiancee's hometown of St. Louis in April.  Rehearsal dinner at an indoor carousel - so lots of vintage details (sort of like a run-down charming carnival) and a little bit circus themed.  I think the twine would be perfect to tie together our rehearsal dinner invite - it goes great for that!  

We are making all of the invites (hello, custom logo's first apperance!) as a project together, and I see some additional teamwork in the decor  (bunting, coffee filter garlands, etc) coming up.

For the wedding day, we are having it is his sister's backyard, and I am trying to DIY as much as possible.  Making the decorations - our colors are navy and cream (to play up the loan of a great sapphire necklace from my aunt) - is my main focus, using vintage books in navy and red and handmaking all the flowers from felt and vintage buttons (inspired by Princess Lasertron).  Each table  - about 9 if we guessed right on the guest count - is going to have a cake or dessert.  The cupcake wrappers are perfect for this because we wanted to have a table or two in cupcakes, and do some cakes and pies on others.

I hope that the guests love the details as much as I do, and I can't wait for the big day!

My fiance and I are getting married in Oct. of 2010 in a cove of lake powell. Our reception will be on a houseboat. I would like to try a lot of DIY projects. invitations, pomander decorations, bouqets, etc. The poosibilities are endless!!

I'm bouncing around so many decoration ideas!  Pretty much all are DIY, too!   I'm having a ball going to thrift stores, yard sales, flea markets, etc. looking for things to use in my projects!  I found glass containers for my candy bar and the 8x10 frames for our table names (our songs) for a total of $2 at a flea market!  My bridesmaids are wearing black sheath dresses with a black flower on the hip, and I'm making them green fabric flowers to pin next to the black one - and they're all walking with a green clutch instead of bouquets (my colors are green and black).

We have a simple and romantic feel to our day. Our ceremony begins at 7 pm, shortly before sunset. We'll have candles and flower petals lining the aisle and the patio outside will have lanterns that I designed and made myself.  Inside, the entire glass wall will be lined with candles and lights will be strung around the pillars and balconies.

I forgot to come here after my exam last night! Hope I can still squeeze in. LOVE LOVE LOVE the twine & monograms!!! And those cupcake liners are exquisite!!! My fave would be the one with the birds and (cherry) blossoms!

Our colors are blue and yellow, inspired by the sun and the sky~ We're trying to keep the decor playful and fun but still beautiful, so lots of vintage-inspired flea market finds, homemade escort cards and table numbers, mason jars, brass picture frames, organza flowers and lots of raffia...

I'm making modge podge coasters out of four different papers that match my maid's dresses and flowers.  I've made 400 so far (whew!) and they are turning out amazing!  They're definitely going to make a statement on my tables and I hope the guests enjoy the "Have a drink on us!" tags that we've attached using ribbon.

We got engaged in Paris while on a two week trip in Europe. We are going to bring that trip into our wedding reception with each city as a table that we visited.

We're having our wedding at the Space Needle, so I'm very excited to bring its unique shape into our wedding decor :)

We're excited about making the city we both live in (Seattle) the "centerpiece" of the wedding.  For our July wedding, we're taking our guests out on a boat cruise on Lake Union where the captain will point out landmarks like the space needle and the Sleepless in Seattle houseboat. :)  Sunshine would also be a nice accent color. :)

I have TONs of ideas!  I need to start taming them down so I can focus on a few and pull the wedding together.  One idea I have is that I would like to have a HUGE floor to celing wall art that hangs from the ceiling that says something like 'just married' that will hange behind myself and my new husband at the reception.  I also want to do some hand printing of fabrics to use as napkins, table runners, etc.  

I am really excited to use chalkboards in our decor. We are going to list the table members on chalkboards, our program and our menu.

We are getting married in a vineyard, which is on top of a mountain over looking the valley, and the reception will be in an old converted stable.  I'd like to keep things as simple as possible for the ceremony, using wildflowers, and a very simple arch that my fiance will build.  I'd like to let the natural beauty be key, as that is what attracted me to the venue in the first place.  

My fiance proposed in Napa, and we love wine, so we're doing a wine theme.  Instead of the usual "wine country" slightly rustic look, we're going wine theme with a luxe, chic twist!  Our colors are black cherry and dark plum with petal pink and celadon accents.  We're doing a destination wedding weekend and have wine rings with crystal grapes of different colors for our favors.  I plan on putting them in individual boxes with a ribbon fastened with a specially designed logo.  Instead of table numbers, we're using the names of the wineries we visited when we got engaged!

I am from California, and my fiance is from a village in Austria.  For our San Diego Wedding in August, we plan to try and showcase the best from both worlds, so to speak.  Our wedding reception will be at a yacht club, so we plan to use lots of lanterns and white mini lights outside on the patio.  Since 2 years of our 5 year relationship were spent traveling back and forth to see each other, we are incorporating as much about travel as we can.  Each table will be a place we have visited together, accompanied with a photo and small story about our time there.  Place cards will be mini vintage post cards that are "sent" from each traveled-to place(table) to the guest, leading them to their seats.  My fiance comes from a wine region, so we plan to use wine corks as well.  (For the place cards, etc.)    We'll have a lot of Austrian treats like apple strudel and chocolate-covered pumpkin sees, hand-woven baskets, etc.  A mish-mash, yes, but hopefully it will all come together!!

I really would love to use lighting at our reception location. Our main color is plum and its a very dramatic color. I'm envisioning floor lights around the walls projecting a dark purple color.

We are getting married in a beautiful garden in Santa Barbara! I'm most excited about the lighting! I want lot's and lot's of candle light!

It's all about feathers for me:) I have done so much research over different inspirations from rustic to vintage to simple elegance.  I am trying to work white feathers into my entire wedding from my bouquet, dinner centerpieces, to my hairpiece.  It is fun and unique and I would be so happy if I was able to create this amazing vision.

Think vintage parisian flea market incorporating greys, ivory and muted purple/lavender.  I am scouting for antiques to decorate with like old bottles, handkerchiefs, table clothes and a cakestand.  For some reason I am stuck on fabric in which I hope I don't go too overboard.  I plan on purchasing baker's twine as I am bundling my wedding invites (which will be printed on lace handkerchiefs and a vintage postcard response card) and again incorporating the twine on hangtags that will be the place cards.  We are in need of doing a wedding logo asap for our save the dates and those cupcake wrappers would be perfect for the cupcakes (rather than slices of cake) we plan on serving.

We are having handmade fabric flower boutonnieres as our escort cars. I think it's the perfect reflection of our laidback garden elegance vibe.

I am from Seattle, my Fiancé is from England, and we met in New York! Our first date was in London, and a month later our second date was in Paris. We now live in Seattle, so we want to include the ornate European details we’ve loved along the way with the rustic beauty of the Northwest at our August 2010 wedding.

Our save the dates look like vintage French circus posters, our guests will have English tea service after dinner, and our outdoor reception under a clear tent in a wooded clearing will be full of Northwest details and food.  We’re hanging European gilded chandeliers in surrounding trees and naming our tables with vintage travel posters. We’re shooting for a whimsical, vintage, northwest feast for the eyes (and tummy!)

I am trying to keep the plans simple. Cheery yellow, clean white, and cozy gray.  I love old barns and hope that this event will have a rustic feel.  

We are having the wedding on a beautiful island in Toronto next July, and are going to be using colours like yellow, green, marigold and blue, that can seen in the wildflowers and in season flowers close by. I will be sewing my own checkered dinner napkins (!), making paper flower garlands to string across the room as the ceilings of the venue are quite high. If all goes well, we will also be making pennants to mark the route from the ferry to the venue. And I would love to have little bakery boxes of treats as favours. We will be busy...
