Folksy Organic North Carolina Wedding Inspiration at Magpie Meat & Three

March 26, 2017 | juliette

This wedding inspiration, which also acted as a vow renewal for the models, at Magpie Meat & Three combined a fresh black and white color palette with pops of sage, metallics, and natural wood for a totally organic feel. Between the rustic lanterns, geometric wicker orbs, and Floressence Flowers‘ horizontal floral installation, we can’t get enough of this North Carolina shoot’s creative ceremony backdrop. We love this bride and groom’s folksy attire that includes a stunning Wild Flower Bridal gown and the groom’s warm wool sweater vest. Folk + Wayfarer photographed every fun detail of this wedding inspiration, including the lumberjack-worthy axe used as the wedding cake cutter!

  1. Love the styling of this shoot, and cutting the cake with a handaxe? Genius.

  2. Fantastic shoot! Using an axe has to be one of the coolest ways to cut the cake. Love the beautiful warm earthy tones too!
