From lace sleeves to custom jewelry to stunning light, this Polish wedding is the very definition of elegance. Kasia and Miguel were married at Restauracja Nad Potokiem in a charming garden ceremony. The classic black and white color scheme kept the focus on the bride and groom, while also showcasing the special, subtle details throughout the day. Monika Photo Art captured truly mesmerizing images of the couple exchanging vows and romantic glances.

The Couple: Kasia and Miguel

The Wedding: Restauracja Nad Potokiem, Gdansk, Poland

The Inspiration:

“What we were looking for was a timeless and discrete elegance with a little hint of vintage glamour. That is why we’ve decided for our venue to be covered in white with a delicate hint of silver details. Tables were decorated with white roses and baby’s breath centerpieces. Miguel wore a tailored black suit with a bow tie and a tux shirt, while I chose a lace mermaid dress with train, open back and long sleeves, all paired with a Spanish style veil, called a mantilla.”

The Moments:

Miguel: My favorite moment was after the pastor said “You may kiss the bride!” Then as we walked up the aisle our guests shot the rose petals confetti cannons in the air. It really spread the excitement!
Kasia: When we read our self written vows and I could see little tears in Miguel‘s eyes when I read mine with my voice breaking. It was the most intimate and honest moment I could imagine.

The Couple Recommends: “I loved working with Monika Photo Art. Working with her was soothing, especially after a long day of wedding preparations and on the day after. Thanks to her talent and incredible skill of catching the sunlight, all pictures taken during the wedding ceremony and also those in the historic nooks of Mariacka Street, in Gdańsk’s old town, will forever remind us of the most beautiful day in our lives.
