I have been photographing weddings for over 10 years, and still find tremendous joy in working with my couples. Wedding days should be exciting, not stressful. Images should portray authentic moments and wonderful memories with you and your guests, not stiff poses and unrealistic scenes. So knowing how to work a camera is really the most basic of skills for a photographer. The real work is using your experience and emotional intelligence to keep things moving, corral a group, be in the right place at the right time and yet step out of the way and let real dialog and emotions come to the surface. Images are not memories. Rather they trigger memories, and I want the memories they trigger to be wonderful. I love what I do, and would be happy to speak with you about your wedding too.
