With a documentary approach, I blend artistically captured moments, and curated editorial creations for beautifully unique and honest wedding photography. I am especially adept at putting my clients at ease in front of the camera so they can be themselves, and truly experience their wedding day.
My education and professional experience as a fine art photographer in the San Francisco art world, a graphic designer in the Hollywood movie industry, and an art director in the advertising mecca Manhattan, provides me the tools to creatively capture and develop your wedding pictures into gallery quality, fine art pieces.
I am an artist lucky enough to make a living from my art. I'm an adventurer fortunate enough to have made the whole world my workplace. I'm a mother blessed with three amazing children that are growing as strong, and as beautiful as California wildflowers. And, I'm a woman sharing this amazing adventure with my best friend, my husband.

I think Cassandra's work speaks for itself- she captures all the gorgeous natural settings of norther California coastline and surrounding areas, and also seems to find a wind range of raw human emotions which present themselves on one's wedding day- both were things I would like to remember from my wedding day. Also, I know she must post-edit her images, but it's nothing too over-the top, everything looks very natural.
What you don't see in her portfolio is how it is to work with her. She is extremely warm yet professional. For my elopement not only was she able to recommend a wonderful officiant and florist- and picked up the flowers the morning of! she really went above and beyond for her sense of adventure. She was with us the entire action-packed day starting with a walk in the redwoods, a picknick at a winery and even went out on a kayak with us as we free-dove the kelp and explored some other features of the coast. What a great sport! I doubt many photographers would do that, on top of having great skills. I can't thank her enough for helping us our special day, and for capturing it all so well. I look back on our photos nearly daily to remember it.

Cassandra is an absolute PRO and we couldn't have been happier both in preparation for the event and execution at the wedding. She was easy to work with, invisible yet taking gorgeous shots and wow does she know the exact right spots and time of day to shoot in Mendocino and especially the Cypress Grove. She's also a great time keeper who kept us on our toes so we got the right shots. Our photos are gorgeous. Highly recommend!

Cassandra was wonderful to work with from start to finish. She's a true artist with vast knowledge of the Mendocino region, particularly helpful for those planning their wedding from afar. She supported us through multiple phone conversations, planning of logistics, and made us feel so at ease during our wedding photography session. She's super fun to work with, has a great sense of humor, and is extremely creative. Do yourself a favor and hire her!

After meeting Cassandra for coffee while planning our wedding in Mendocino my husband and I knew she was going to be perfect for our wedding photos and video and she did not disappoint! She was so knowledgeable about the location and how and where to take our photos which was very reassuring since we were having a destination wedding. She was also great with communication throughout the planning process and even on the day of. She brought a warm and calming energy to our wedding day which was greatly appreciated. Also our photos and video turned out so well! They are amazing and even better than I could have imagined. We would highly recommend her!
