Gaby and Sanford are a jet-set, New York City kind of couple, who even met for the first time in Times Square, so what could be better for their engagement shoot than an " I Heart NY" photo shoot with the team at Jason Groupp!?
The photography team at Jason Groupp started their New York adventure with Gaby and Sanford by creating an inspiration board just for their shoot on Pinterest, after learning about the coupe's styles, favorite designers, and locations around the city.
From Jason Groupp: After receiving Gaby and Sanford's questionnaire answers (which were great) we started working on their inspiration board. We used tear sheets, Pinterest and music to put together a plan for the day. For this particular session we used “Jet Boy Jet Girl” by Elton Motello which is a 70's punk rock adaptation of “Ca plane pour moi (Everything’s going well for me)” by Plastic Bertrand.
After getting dolled up in hair and makeup, this fun team started the day at Madison Square Park, then headed to Chinatown, the LES, the Meatpacking District, and the couple's own rooftop, changing outfits and stopping at meaningful spots along the way. The result is a set of photos that is filled with chemistry, style, and the city that Gaby and Sanford love dearly. Brilliant!
