Today's Real Wedding comes directly from Stephanie, one of our Junebug readers and the Wedding Bee blogger extraordinaire, Miss Hydrangea! Stephanie and Ulises were married last September in Dallas, Texas in a seriously stylish celebration! For their wedding color palette they chose black and white, and accented it with touches of blue, like Stephanie's gorgeous royal blue Christina Louboutins (love!) and the embroidery on her lacy handkerchief. The men in the wedding party all wore modern black tuxes with neckties, and the ladies chose their own pretty black dresses.

The wedding ceremony was held at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, and Ulises and Stephanie each walked down the aisle with both of their parents, which was super meaningful for all involved. To honor Ulises' family heritage they incorporated lots of Spanish traditions into the ceremony and during one special moment, Stephanie's little niece decided to get involved as well. "When everyone went to take communion and we were kneeling up front, I could hear, 'Stephanie, Stephanie, STEPHANIE!' As I turned around, my niece was standing there waving and grinning. It was so cute, and so special for me." Adorable!

The reception was held at the W Hotel in Dallas, and because the hotel itself has such strong design elements, the black and white wedding decor and stunning blue lighting fit in perfectly and highlighted the beauty that was already there. Glowing candle light and dramatic modern floral designs from Bella Flora topped the tables, and a custom designed wedding logo was used on everything from the invitations to the table cards to the wedding cake and gelato cups. This strong and meaningful visual brought out the beauty in the black and white damask table cloths and table runners and was a constant design element used throughout the entire wedding day.

Stephanie and Ulises were thrilled to work with the talented Perez Photography, and have had the help of their wedding coordinator, Rebecca Hackl Events, so they could sit back, relax, and truly enjoy every bit of their wedding! And how darling does Stephanie look in her second dress of the evening, a short little party frock by Vera Wang? That's the perfect way to celebrate I'd say!
