Wishing for a wedding day full of timeless romance, Gretchen and Erick selected the truly magical Kampongs Gardens in Miami, Florida, and everything else fell perfectly into place. Colorful tropical flowers set the tone and transported the couple and their guests to another world. Maloman Photographers captured stunning portraits of the couple in the fragrant Miami air and just looking at the photos has me dreaming about being there too.
Junebug: What inspired your personal wedding style, and how did you incorporate your style and personalities into your big day?
Gretchen and Erick: The style was completely inspired by the gorgeous natural elements of the Kampong’s gardens. We chose wooden tables, tropical flowers, and other furnishings that complemented the elegant outdoor venue.
Junebug: Looking back, what are the moments, decisions or memories that you love the most about your wedding?
Gretchen and Erick: It was a beautiful evening in the garden, with perfect Miami weather, topped off by an outdoor cake cutting lit by the biggest full moon of the year.
Junebug: What specifically drew you to Maloman Photographers and their imagery?
Gretchen and Erick: Maloman’s photos are romantic and timeless, just like this incredible venue. I knew that he would be able to capture the dreamy, almost otherworldly feeling of the Kampong.
