Junebug: What three adjectives best describe your fall wedding?

Jess and Tony: Crazy (in a good way), elegant, warm.

Junebug: What inspired your personal wedding style, and how did you incorporate your style and personalities into your big day?

Jess and Tony: My biggest inspiration was the fall season. I love the warm colors, rustic atmosphere, and of course the food! You could see the rustic fall wedding theme carried through with the farm tables and honey favors we chose, as well as the pie bar. Sterling Affair did a great job with the food. It had local, seasonal elements which Im really passionate about. The warm colors were incorporated in the floral arrangements and bridesmaid dresses. I wanted to stray from the cookie cutter look of most weddings, which is why I went with completely different bridesmaid dresses and Tony chose different ties for the guys. I also hated the stereotype that the bride makes her girls look bad, so I went with styles that looked the best on each girl.

Junebug: Looking back, what are the moments, decisions or memories that you love the most about your wedding?

Jess and Tony: Im sorry but there are so many! The wedding day was really perfect so here are a few of my favorites. 1. I was thrilled with how the bridesmaid dresses turned out…everyone looked absolutely stunning. It took a lot of research but it was well worth it. 2. We had our hair and makeup done in my hotel room which made the entire morning a breeze and we had a total blast! 3. It was a last minute decision to get a videographer and I am so happy I did. I just got the video last week and it is the most amazing thing ever! It really showcases how happy and fun the whole day was. 4. It was Tonys idea to have the cigar bar and it was totally genius; all the guys (and some girls haha) loved it! 5. The photobooth was awesome! The pictures are priceless. 6. But the best moment was probably the kiss at the church 😉

Junebug: What specifically drew you to Daniel Moyer Photography and his imagery?

Jess and Tony: I really wanted a photojournalistic style of photography. The most important thing for me was capturing the candid moments…not so much the portraits. I loved Dans easygoing personality and his passion for the job. I felt like he was more excited than I was! Often in wedding planning you feel like youre being taken advantage of because people will pay anything to get their dream wedding…I didnt feel that way with Dan at all. He was honest and genuine…it felt like we were friends all along.
