With many guests traveling for the occasion, the couple planned beyond the wedding day, giving everyone time to eat, dance, and explore a city they wanted to share with the people closest to them.<\/span><\/p>\n

Alexandra and Luke’s history goes back much further than high school. They first met in kindergarten at six years old, grew up together, and eventually started dating as teenagers. By the time they married, they had been together for more than seven years.<\/span><\/p>\n

For Alexandra, having several events meant an opportunity to explore more than one bridal attire. “There are so many different styles that I loved and wanted to wear, so getting to find special looks for each part of our wedding weekend was so much fun!” she said.<\/span><\/p>\n

Once Alexandra and Luke chose Luna Escondida, they were introduced to <\/span>Lucero Álvarez Wedding Agency<\/span><\/a>, whose team helped them build the rest of their <\/span>vendor lineup<\/span><\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n
The property already had much of what they were looking for. They <\/span>envisioned<\/span><\/a> an elegant wedding with organic, natural elements and a layered palette of green, burgundy, plum, blush, and ivory. Instead of starting with a blank space, they could work with the character that was already there.<\/span><\/p>\n
“We loved that Luna Escondida already had so much character and beauty of its own, which allowed us to enhance the space rather than transform it completely,” the couple explained.<\/span><\/p>\n
Lucero and her team also connected them with an entirely <\/span>Mexico-based vendor team<\/span><\/a>. Trust and transparency mattered when choosing who to work with, but Alexandra and Luke also gave their vendors room to contribute their own expertise and ideas.<\/span><\/p>\n

A hand-painted dance floor became part of the party space, while a coffee and matcha bar gave guests another stop during the evening. <\/span>Gift bags<\/span><\/a> included slippers bearing the couple’s wedding monogram, ready to swap in once dancing was underway.<\/span><\/p>\n
They also created a silk scarf highlighting San Miguel de Allende alongside playful references to the wedding weekend, plus a tambourine featuring their wedding logo. The pieces weren’t all variations of the same favor. Some were made for the dance floor, some referenced the destination, and others simply gave guests something fun to use during the party.<\/span><\/p>\n
