Their story began with a simple (but telling) Bumble prompt: <\/span>Queso over guac.<\/span><\/i> As a Kansas City girl living in avocado-obsessed LA, Lauren knew that was rare and intriguing. Their first date at Redbird, an old chapel-turned-restaurant downtown, sparked something instant. “Before we knew it, every other day we were staying at each other’s place until we decided to move in together. The rest is history!” Lauren shared.<\/span><\/p>\n

The venue already had so much character that we didn’t feel the need to over-decorate.”<\/span><\/p>\n

Lauren fell in love with her <\/span>Kim Kassas<\/span><\/a> gown after visiting multiple boutiques and trying on dozens of dresses. “I originally saw it online after going to three other bridal stores and trying on probably 30 different dresses,” she shared. “I went to Jaxon James specifically to try on this one and almost fell in love with another Kim Kassas dress. I eventually went with my gut and chose this one because of how the tulle fell on the skirt. Just a stunning dress!”<\/span><\/p>\n

Adam opted for a look that felt bold yet timeless. “I wanted to be unique but still classy,” he said. He wore a custom <\/span>crushed green velvet tuxedo jacket<\/span><\/a> with a bow tie, finished with red-bottom <\/span>Louboutins<\/span><\/a> and a vintage French gold watch Lauren had given him for his birthday. <\/span><\/p>\n
