This red, black and white wedding color post, inspired by The White Stripes<\/a>, is from WAY back in the day – June 27, 2007, and I love remembering back to when creating color palettes and inspiration boards for wedding like this was a new additional to the blogosphere…<\/p>\n

I happen to love a little band called the White Stripes<\/a> (you may have heard of them) and on Sunday I was lucky enough to get to road trip up to Vancouver, BC to see them play and to visit my friend Ben<\/a> who is touring with them (see the man in uniform above). The show rocked, we had a blast, and now I love the band even more! On the drive home, visions of their constant red, white and black color scheme flickered in my mind and I got to wondering what a White Stripes wedding would look like. Graphic, intense, quirky, dramatic and a little bit rock and roll: my idea of the ultimate red, white and black wedding! Now if only Jack and Meg would play at the reception…<\/p>\n
