With its floor-to-ceiling arched windows, vaulted ceilings, and vintage chandeliers—the Spanish-style club rooms fit their theme perfectly. For their magical <\/span>ceremony<\/span><\/a>, an evergreen-lined aisle led to an altar <\/span>framed<\/span><\/a> with a lush floral arch and tinsel-filled trees. The ultimate yuletide cheer was further achieved at their <\/span>reception<\/span><\/a>. Guests dined on tablescapes filled with <\/span>greenery garlands<\/span><\/a> and candles with holiday gift crackers as an accent. Why A 60s-Inspired Christmas Sequoyah Country Club Wedding<\/span><\/h2>\n

Both of us are holiday babies, December 28 and December 31 birthdays, so we knew we wanted a magical <\/span>Christmas wedding<\/span><\/a>. Aside from celebrating with our <\/span>nearest and dearest<\/span><\/a>, sharing our <\/span>vows<\/span><\/a> under massive <\/span>silver tip Christmas trees<\/span><\/a>. We wanted something classic, old-glamor—think 60s tinsel-covered holiday party. We chose the Sequoyah Country Club because my parents got married in the same <\/span>venue<\/span><\/a>, also around Christmas time. We’ve had many special events there over the years and just felt right for our wedding. We didn’t waver from our inspiration and it turned out better than we could have imagined<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n

Our <\/span>wedding planner<\/span><\/a> was heaven-sent. We would have been lost without her. She was by our side every step of the way, always offering <\/span>advice<\/span><\/a> and thinking ten steps again. We asked her a million questions to get a ballpark figure. This was tough as we needed a baseline wedding <\/span>budget<\/span><\/a> to work with. Ultimately, we tried to identify what was most important and what we could sacrifice to stay within a comfortable number. Our advice: trust the professionals! <\/span><\/em><\/p>\n
