After four years together and a romantic New York boathouse <\/span>engagement<\/span><\/a>, Sita and Matt <\/span>planned<\/span><\/a> for a grand celebration in the bride’s home country of Thailand. They wanted their wedding to feel more like a vacation with their <\/span>loved ones<\/span><\/a>, and that’s exactly what they did. With the help of planners <\/span>Wedding Bliss Thailand<\/span><\/a> and <\/span>Easton Events<\/span><\/a>, the pair achieved a <\/span>week-long<\/span><\/a> traditional Thai wedding full of color, show-stopping <\/span>florals<\/span><\/a> and <\/span>decor<\/span><\/a>, <\/span>and<\/span><\/i> fashion-forward attire.<\/span><\/p>\n

Overlooking the rice paddies of Chiang Mai, the <\/span>ceremony<\/span><\/a> began with a gatecrashing parade, followed by a Buddhist monk and a water blessing. For the <\/span>reception<\/span><\/a>, a <\/span>canopy of <\/span>fairy lights<\/span><\/a> drew the eyes to the breathtaking architecture of the Dhara Devi in the background and illuminated the stunning tablescape. Eye-catching <\/span>arrangements of blooms and greenery<\/span><\/a> were the highlight, and the same can be said about their western poolside celebration at <\/span>Amanpuri<\/span><\/a> a few days later. <\/span>The standout features were a flower-filled aisle leading to the altar, towering oversized tropical centerpieces, <\/span>and<\/span><\/i> a floating floor surrounded by large lotus flowers.<\/span><\/p>\n

On top of the gorgeous scenery and spectacular floral displays, their multi-day affair also had an array of epic outfit changes. It looked straight out of a magazine—from the bride’s glittering <\/span>Siwalai<\/span><\/i> and designer <\/span>dresses<\/span><\/a> to the groom’s crisp jacket with Mandarin collar and <\/span>classic tuxedos<\/span><\/a>. This wedding is a beautiful combination of traditional and contemporary, and all the details are definitely a must-see.
